We loved this huge apartment in Zamora. It is near the river, beside a church and you do indeed have the opportunity to sit on the patio and enjoy watching the storks. They were feeding their babies which was so cute! Centre of the town is not a far walk also. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom a good size. Kitchen was very functional and appliances were easy to operate. Washer and dryer was a bonus! Our host Jesus was so lovely. He was very attentive to our quieres and genuinely kind and responsive. We had a wonderful, relaxing 2 days and highly recommend this unit.

Helga and Mario have a beautiful clean place with incredible views of the Douro River Valley. We had great instructions to get to the home and how to get in with a keyless code. It was raining and cold so we were soaked getting the gate open and getting suitcases inside. There’s a fireplace in the living area and I asked Helga if we could get firewood and within minutes someone arrived with wood and he even built us a fire. When I made my reservation, I mentioned that I needed a haircut/ pedicure and Helga made me an appointment with Sonia in the next village of Tabuaço for the day after we arrived, that was wonderful service and kind of her. I was very pleased. Helga gave very good information on things to do in the area and places to eat. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have had while traveling. Everything was clean and as stated in the listing. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs if that is an issue but we were told this before we booked. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I recommend this place 100% ; great location, close to shops and Plaza Mayor, as well as tourist spot. near salamanca train station. the apartment 10/10, super aseado, tidy and with everything necessary to have an excellent stay and Amador always responded to all our inquiries.

We were a group of 3. We travel a lot and we really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches at Ana's place! We drove from Porto and arrived early and Ana was very flexible about allowing us to leave our bags earlier than the check in time. Of the Airbnbs in Portugal, this was our favorite. Do not expect modern decorations but you can count on many comforts that other Airbnbs do not have. Not only is fresh bread delivered each morning but Ana also stocked her kitchen with fresh fruit, milk, juice, sugar, honey, jams, plenty of coffee pods, and she stocked the refrigerator with cheese, eggs, beer, a bottle of wine. The place is very spacious and could have comfortably accommodated more than 3 people. There are cosy bathrobes in the closets, an extra blanket, slippers and plenty of outlets in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony is so lovely and peaceful. If you come to Pinhao, I highly recommend Ana's place!

Our stay at Lugar das Letras was nothing short of magical. This beautifully restored house, once an old school, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards—a true feast for the eyes. The rooms and bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. But what made our experience truly unforgettable were Carla and Paula, the two wonderful ladies who took care of every detail. Every morning, they prepared a memorable breakfast for our entire family, filled with warmth and care. Their kindness and hospitality turned our stay into a dream. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise in the Douro Valley. Highly recommended!

Great place, very spacious, very cozy, friendly and accommodating host, highly recommended and worth every penny.

It is a family home, very well maintained and recovered. The house has all the amenities and a few more. The hostess ensured excellent communication and the lady who received us (D.ª Silvina) is overflowing with kindness. We were even entitled to some treats, which were the icing on the cake. Thank you so much for everything!

A repeat experience! I was previously contacted if we learned the time of entry to the house and when we arrived home there was a super cozy temperature in every division. Linda made a point of leaving a basket of products from the area that were wonderful. The super-equipped kitchen, like everything needed for a stay and family and friends. The whole dwelling was well taken care of, clean and with various details that made us feel at home.

Beautiful home with all the amenities exactly as described. Perfect location within walking distance of Pinhao village and a number of wineries. The host, Francisco met us on arrival to show us through the house. His communication is unsurpassed providing recommendations for restaurants, wineries and boat trips on the river. Very responsive to any questions. Could not recommend highly enough. A totally wonderful experience.

We were taken care of by Jackelin and it was a charm, super flexible and made everything very easy for us. The house is fully equipped and very clean. Highlight the comfort of mattresses that is somewhat unusual. It is in a very quiet neighborhood a 15-minute walk from downtown. If we return to Salamanca, we will definitely repeat!

The apartment is small but with everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The bed was huge, the kitchen was fully equipped and the bathroom super clean. Maria was very pleasant and was attentive at all times, providing us with places to eat and providing us with information about cultural sites and monuments. If we go back to Salamanca we will definitely repeat.

Pablo is super friendly, very attentive and flexible with the schedules. The house is great and the location is wonderful. Very quiet area with everything very close by. Let's repeat.
