Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Long Barn

Loved our time Arnold. Really enjoyed the home, especially the hot tub. I loved that the back patio was completely enclosed so that my small dog could also wander around when we enjoyed the hot tub. Close to the super market and lovely hikes.

Love the house! Clean, big comfy bed, great kitchen. Oooh, the Keurig can brew either a pot of coffee or a single cup! The yard was especially nice for our dog to run around & sniff. The 1897 Railroad State Park is just up the street, and downtown is a short walk away (we rode the train & walked to the Smoke Cafe, all with our dog). Great place to stay!

We decided on a last minute weekend get away and Jacques guesthouse did not disappoint. Her beautiful home is on the property but you have every bit of privacy needed. The deck was our favorite spot. Very private, great view of the hills and you can hear geese, cows, and turkeys. The check in and check out was the easiest I’ve seen. We will definitely be back!

I loved staying here. Close walk to downtown which is great with all the wineries in town. Inside is cute and outside is very peaceful with the creek running through the yard. Beds were also very comfy which is always a plus. I would absolutely stay here again!

Thank you Laurie for opening your home to us. We do a lot of cooking & the kitchen was fully supplied, way more than the average Airbnb. It really felt like home. We enjoyed the open space setup for our family & 3 dogs. Thank you!!

We had an amazing time at Krystall & Jason’s home. We spent New Year there and drove to Yosemite National Park for some sightseeing. If you come late or wake up early, you will see a group of deer peacefully grazing.

The house was beautiful, and we had everything we needed. We did a lot of BBQ and cooking. The outside patio is the best. Michelle responded very quick when I had a question. She even went out of her way to get us access to the lake and be able to go kayaking. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy the lake more.

The Mountain House was the perfect place to stay for the three day weekend. Kitchen fully stocked. Pillows have to be the comfiest I have ever experienced. Jim (host) was so responsive and kind enough to lend us his sleds. I'm already trying to plan when I can bring my family (including pooch) to stay at the Mountain House. Love, love, love this place.

What a beautiful place! Very stylish, clean, and comfortable! There were so many sweet touches like a candle on arrival, snacks and coffee available. There was also pretty much every streaming service available which was a big plus. Francis was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed, and check out was incredibly easy. The location was great for our couple days exploring Yosemite - about 30 min from the parks entry and one hour fifteen min from Yosemite village. We enjoyed poking around Groveland as well. Would definitely stay again!

The little cabin was wonderful - perfect for two people. The forest is beautiful and the pool/hot tub area was amazing! A+!

Absolutely amazing stay! The cabin was spotless, beautifully designed, and so cozy. The highlight was definitely the stunning view from the living area—huge glass windows made it feel like we were right in nature. Everything was well-maintained, and the place had a warm, inviting feel. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

We loved staying at Monique’s place! It was perfect for a big family gathering to celebrate a few of our birthdays. The kids loved the games, the home was super clean, and the neighborhood felt safe! The instructions were well explained and Monique had great communication with us for any questions we had. Our family really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

We had the best time at the cabin with our 4 kids! Beautiful quiet neighborhood with lots of space to play outside. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. Our little kids loved the toys and games. Easy 30 minutes to skiing. We would definitely come back!

Great cabin to stay at. Plenty of room and clean. The theater room is awesome! Great sound system and comfortable recliners. The pool table with the ping pong topper was a lot of fun. There are other cabins near bye, but plenty of space between them. Would definitely stay at the sweet retreat again!

Amazing and lovely place close to Yosemite! Andrea and JC were great hosts and kind enough to give suggestions & tips for our trip. Instructions/guides were all helpful and comprehensive. The hot tub was excellent after a day of hiking. Clean and adorable living space, did the extra mile with toiletries, kitchen things, and decor. We made some great memories on our girls trip!

GREAT stay! I would definitely comeback here. Great host and clear communication and instructions. The place is exactly as the pictures. And good amount of supplies and proactively placed second tank for fire pit. Very homey and comfortable place. Highly recommended!

Wife and I checked in at 4 as directed and found the place clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Kindling and wood was pre-prepped making it easy to start a fire in the wood stove to get the place warmed up. Didn’t take long. The hot tub was super clean..looked brand new. Very conveniently located on the deck and easy to get in and out. Very much appreciated. We stayed for 4 nights and made several trips up to the ski area..about a 20 minute drive. Neighborhood was very quiet. Will use this place again.

We had a lovely few days here. It was so nice to find a kid (and dog!) friendly home. We only had one family/four people, but the house could easily accommodate two families. The dome shape is unique and something about it made the space feel large and open. There wasn't any snow when we were there (February 2025), but there was snow up at Dodge Ridge, so it's wasn't a long drive to find some snow play.

Jessica was a wonderful host for our family’s recent day to Yosemite. Our home was extremely well stocked, which made meal prepping and making snacks very easy. She also provided ample pillows and blankets, lanterns, and a welcome book for the house which answered any and all questions. There was ample space for our family, including lots of kids and dogs. She was always prompt and responsive, and gave lots of local recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again on a future trip.

Our family came to the cabin for Spring Break, this was our second stay here. It’s one of our favorite places, allowing for easy access to the snow and the various little towns nearby. My kids are already talking about what they want to do during our next stay.

I had a great stay! As soon as I walked in my first thought was, "wow, it's so spacious." And when I sat on the bed I audibly said "this is so much better that a hotel!" The mattress is a really nice, supportive memory foam, which made for a very comfortable night of great sleep. The sofa was also very supportive and comfortable (a rarity in most moderately priced hotels.) Overall I was really impressed with the quality finishings and furnishings as well as the quality kitchen items/tools available for use. Additionally, the neighborhood/road is very quiet, I saw only 3 other vehicles on their road my whole stay. One was a friendly neighbor who stopped to talk while I was walking my dog and suggested a running/hiking route with even better views. Jessica sent me very helpful instructions with details on what to expect along the route to get there, which I greatly appreciated, especially since I was arriving at night.

This is a very quiet and peaceful spot with a nice outdoor seating area. Very roomy apartment space. Very reasonably priced for what you get. I would highly recommend this place for anyone traveling through the western Sierra's.

We had an amazing stay at this cottage! It was everything we hoped for and more. As a dog-friendly property, it was spotless — a rarity in my experience, and something we truly appreciated. The whole family had such a great time, especially stargazing from the deck, which was an unforgettable experience. We were also really impressed with the host's attention to detail. The included permit made everything so much easier, and the guide with recommendations for local activities and dining was incredibly helpful. We especially loved hiking the rim trail, which was perfect for our dog — the trailhead was just a quick 2-minute drive away. The host was super responsive to any messages we had, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. We will absolutely be coming back! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a four-legged friend!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the house. It was well maintained and clean.Danielle was very responsive with all the directions and instructions to the house.. I highly recommend staying at the place. We will definitely stay here next time we visit.
