Holiday rentals with lake access in Loch Etive

We took our 2 teenagers and dog away for a couple of nights to chill out & we done exactly that! The house was exactly what we were after, location was amazing, right on the banks of the loch, along with hot tub and coal fire & absolutely peace we have had the best weekend, didn't want to leave. George was very helpful, messaging us before and after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The village shop is literally just 2 mins walk with all your needs if you forget to bring anything. Very friendly and served the most amazing coffee and homemade cakes. Can't wait to return soon. We had a wonderful stay at Sharon & Mary’s. The location was absolutely perfect—peaceful, scenic, and just a short walk from the iconic viaduct. The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sharon & Mary were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Highlands! Would definitely come again!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour ! L’architecture de la maison est très originale , une magnifique restauration d’une ancienne Grange , L’accueil très amical du papa de Cameron , Nous avions qu’un seul regret , ne pas être resté plus longtemps :)

Cragowlet was a beautiful stay with big and beautiful rooms. Very specious and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom which is always a big plus. Brian as a host was wonderful! Helpful and ready to give guidence and advice for local activities if we needed it. Cragowlet was beautiful and we definitely want to go back if we're in the area again. Couldn't recommend more! 👌

John was a fantastic host, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location or property. The views were outstanding and we could have easily just gone for those but the house was plenty big enough for 8 adults and 3 children, they didn’t want to leave. It was very clean with clear instructions. We would highly recommend John and his property!

An absolute gem of a place to stay . Every detail thought of, clean and the views were spectacular in a prime and stunning location . We have had an amazing and magical 4 days staying here and thoroughly enjoyed it . Highly recommend this place and has made our first visit to Scotland incredible, we will definitely be coming back sometime soon.

We hebben een fantastische paar nachten gehad bij "Dail an Fheidh" het huisje van Elizabeth. Wat een prachtig huisje die aan alles voldeed, het uitzicht en wakker worden tussen de herten is magisch! Een supermarkt is niet om de hoek maar als je van tevoren je boodschappen doet of met het voetgangerspondje naar de overkant gaat maakt het heel niet uit. Na een tip van de host een heerlijke pizza gegeten bij een brouwerij op 15 min rijden. Er is veel te zien en te doen in de omgeving zoals Glenfinnan en Loch shiel en de Ben Nevis. Een plekje om tot rust te komen en te genieten, een plekje om zeker te onthouden en aan te raden voor iedereen!

Beolary is a brilliant house, and Hazel is a superb host. Our family had a wedding in Oban and the house was invaluable helping our family enjoy the wedding, and Oban, for the weekend. Recommend entirely without reservation - Thank you, Hazel (and Susan).

Andrew and Lisa were both really friendly and the place is a great base for walking; warm, comfortable and handy for lots of good hills. It's compact but had everything I wanted and everything worked fine (great shower). Excellent place to stay, will be back.

Nous avons passé trois nuits fabuleuses dans l'appartement de Sarah. Outre la vue (aussi magnifique que sur les photos), il est grand, confortable et particulièrement bien équipé. Parfaitement situé pour rayonner dans les Highlands, bref à recommander sans hésiter !

Lovely lovely apartment right by the lake. Mesmerizing views, amazing shower, well equiped kitchen and we even had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. We felt at home abd had a wonderful time !

This place has got to be one of the best we have stayed at for location as the views from the accommodation were just stunning and right on Loch Etive which was also fantastic for paddle boarding being on the door step. Beautiful wildlife all around to watch through the huge living room windows that look out at Ben Cruachan and Loch Etive

This is a great place, right in the heart of Dalavich, at a very reasonable price. The accommodation is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are great, friendly and informative. Dalavich is beautiful and a great place to visit. We had a fantastic time. I would stock up with provisions before you come and bring them with you though. I would highly recommend this accommodation and the location.

Beautiful setting here with clear instructions for check in. An easy walk to The Duck Bay hotel with restaurants was a very nice addition here. Anne was very helpful and quick to answer any questions that we may have had. Would recommend a stay here.

Accueil hyper chaleureux de Chris et Sarah dans cette ancienne école. Le loft à l’étage est intelligemment aménagé, avec goût, et dispose de tout le nécessaire. Loft très privé tout en se sentant vraiment accueillis chez nos hôtes. Beaucoup moins impersonnel que de nombreux autres endroits. Vue superbe sur le loch et le jardin soigneusement entretenu. Beautiful place. Prefect location with beautiful views and close to Oban

Thank you Frances! It was wonderful staying with you. We were only here for one night, but in that time we really enjoyed it. Frances was very helpful and helped us get from Port Appin to the accommodation, which is not a given. We would recommend anyone to come here. For those who want to experience Scotland's nature away from the tourist crowds, this is the place to be.

Sehr zu empfehlen für 1-2 Wochen mit Kindern (4&7) für Ausflüge in der Umgebung, egal ob Fähre auf die Isle of Mull oder Zug von Arrochard&Tarbet nach Corrour (sehr einsam, super für Wanderungen) oder die Wanderung von Inveraray Castle zum Dun Na Cuaiche Watchtower). Die Gastgeber waren super hilfsbereit und sehr diskret, immer bereit zu helfen oder Tipps zu geben. Küche perfekt ausgestattet, auch alle Basic Zutaten, tolles Esszimmer, super gemütliches Doppelbett. Insgesamt eine perfekte Airbnb Erfahrung! Vielen Dank!

We enjoy this cottage so much that this is the 3rd time we have been. The perfect place to relax.

Truly welcoming and generous hosts. TirNaNog is the perfect space to escape modern stress. The grounds are stunning and peaceful, with a wonderful array of wildlife. There were so many thoughtful little touches throughout the cottage, really surprising and far beyond any place I've stayed. They really have thought of everything and I will definitely return.

From the personal greeting as we arrived, decaf coffee as discussed, plenty of local information and always being on hand as well as ensure we had privacy. comfortable bed. Excellent kitchen. it took me 4 days to realise there was no microwave. Not that I needed it . Outdoor seating at Loch, in bothy garden as well as the back catching the sunshine. Highly highly recommended xx

Great place - hard to get to at night if you have a bigger car since there's about a 3 mile stretch from the main road to get here through farmlands, but you're going to Scotland for that reason right? It comfortably fit 6 people and everything was great. Wonderfully cosy den and sky-light room that made it beautiful to spend time in after a long day of hikes.

Our fifth visit to Hamilsmay. The children are now 15 and 12 and still beg to come back. It’s a super relaxing week that we all look forward to - we read, did jigsaws, played cards, walked miles, and spent a great deal of time starring out the window at the red squirrels, seals, birds right there. It’s just the perfect spot - so special to all of us. Eileen hosted us this time. We all love her - she knows everything about the area and we felt looked after. We’ll be back! Thank you!
