Holiday rentals with lake access in Loch Etive

We took our 2 teenagers and dog away for a couple of nights to chill out & we done exactly that! The house was exactly what we were after, location was amazing, right on the banks of the loch, along with hot tub and coal fire & absolutely peace we have had the best weekend, didn't want to leave. George was very helpful, messaging us before and after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. The village shop is literally just 2 mins walk with all your needs if you forget to bring anything. Very friendly and served the most amazing coffee and homemade cakes. Can't wait to return soon. We had a wonderful stay at Sharon & Mary’s. The location was absolutely perfect—peaceful, scenic, and just a short walk from the iconic viaduct. The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sharon & Mary were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Highlands! Would definitely come again!

Highly recommend staying here. The sunroom was unique and the peaceful surroundings were just what we needed for a break from the city.

Cragowlet was a beautiful stay with big and beautiful rooms. Very specious and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom which is always a big plus. Brian as a host was wonderful! Helpful and ready to give guidence and advice for local activities if we needed it. Cragowlet was beautiful and we definitely want to go back if we're in the area again. Couldn't recommend more! 👌

John was a fantastic host, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location or property. The views were outstanding and we could have easily just gone for those but the house was plenty big enough for 8 adults and 3 children, they didn’t want to leave. It was very clean with clear instructions. We would highly recommend John and his property!

An absolute gem of a place to stay . Every detail thought of, clean and the views were spectacular in a prime and stunning location . We have had an amazing and magical 4 days staying here and thoroughly enjoyed it . Highly recommend this place and has made our first visit to Scotland incredible, we will definitely be coming back sometime soon.

We had a fantastic few nights at "Dail an Fheidh" Elizabeth's cottage. What a beautiful cottage that met everything, the view and waking up among the deer is magical! A supermarket is not around the corner but if you do your shopping in advance or go with the pedestrian walk across it does not matter. After a tip from the host, a delicious pizza was eaten at a brewery at a 15-minute drive. There is plenty to see and do in the area such as Glenfinnan and Loch shiel and the Ben Nevis. A place to relax and enjoy, a place to definitely remember and recommend for everyone!

Beolary is a brilliant house, and Hazel is a superb host. Our family had a wedding in Oban and the house was invaluable helping our family enjoy the wedding, and Oban, for the weekend. Recommend entirely without reservation - Thank you, Hazel (and Susan).

Andrew and Lisa were both really friendly and the place is a great base for walking; warm, comfortable and handy for lots of good hills. It's compact but had everything I wanted and everything worked fine (great shower). Excellent place to stay, will be back.

A lovely stay with the most amazing views.

Lovely lovely apartment right by the lake. Mesmerizing views, amazing shower, well equiped kitchen and we even had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. We felt at home abd had a wonderful time !

This place has got to be one of the best we have stayed at for location as the views from the accommodation were just stunning and right on Loch Etive which was also fantastic for paddle boarding being on the door step. Beautiful wildlife all around to watch through the huge living room windows that look out at Ben Cruachan and Loch Etive

This is a great place, right in the heart of Dalavich, at a very reasonable price. The accommodation is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are great, friendly and informative. Dalavich is beautiful and a great place to visit. We had a fantastic time. I would stock up with provisions before you come and bring them with you though. I would highly recommend this accommodation and the location.

Beautiful setting here with clear instructions for check in. An easy walk to The Duck Bay hotel with restaurants was a very nice addition here. Anne was very helpful and quick to answer any questions that we may have had. Would recommend a stay here.

Beautiful place. Prefect location with beautiful views and close to Oban

Thank you Frances! It was wonderful staying with you. We were only here for one night, but in that time we really enjoyed it. Frances was very helpful and helped us get from Port Appin to the accommodation, which is not a given. We would recommend anyone to come here. For those who want to experience Scotland's nature away from the tourist crowds, this is the place to be.

We enjoy this cottage so much that this is the 3rd time we have been. The perfect place to relax.

Truly welcoming and generous hosts. TirNaNog is the perfect space to escape modern stress. The grounds are stunning and peaceful, with a wonderful array of wildlife. There were so many thoughtful little touches throughout the cottage, really surprising and far beyond any place I've stayed. They really have thought of everything and I will definitely return.

From the personal greeting as we arrived, decaf coffee as discussed, plenty of local information and always being on hand as well as ensure we had privacy. comfortable bed. Excellent kitchen. it took me 4 days to realise there was no microwave. Not that I needed it . Outdoor seating at Loch, in bothy garden as well as the back catching the sunshine. Highly highly recommended xx

Beautiful location and lovely views from the property

Great place - hard to get to at night if you have a bigger car since there's about a 3 mile stretch from the main road to get here through farmlands, but you're going to Scotland for that reason right? It comfortably fit 6 people and everything was great. Wonderfully cosy den and sky-light room that made it beautiful to spend time in after a long day of hikes.

Our fifth visit to Hamilsmay. The children are now 15 and 12 and still beg to come back. It’s a super relaxing week that we all look forward to - we read, did jigsaws, played cards, walked miles, and spent a great deal of time starring out the window at the red squirrels, seals, birds right there. It’s just the perfect spot - so special to all of us. Eileen hosted us this time. We all love her - she knows everything about the area and we felt looked after. We’ll be back! Thank you!
