Originally stables, the cottage has been converted to one-up-one-down self-catering accommodation. Double bed, shower, washing machine, sofa-bed and well equipped kitchen. Easy to get to via public transport. 10 min walk from station and 5 mins to bus stops. It's very close to the shops, cafes etc. Cycle parking available. There is usually space to park a car on the drive, but be aware that the entrance is a bit narrow. We also have an EV charger. We have swifts nesting between May and August.

It is located in beautiful upland Montgomeryshire mountain on the eastern escarpment of Bryn y fan on the Cambrian Mountains and has spectacular 35 mile views down the Trannon & Severn Valleys with distant mountains cradling the view, situated at 1100 feet. Welcome to Ty Melyn (Yellow House), a stone cottage built in the 1850s, set on a single end road in the Rheidol Valley, in its own grounds that form part of a Nature Reserve, Coed Simdde Lwyd. You will stay in a self catered annex attached to the main house. With its own private entrance it is a self-contained unit with a bedroom, living room, walk in wet room and a kitchen. Every room benefits from central heating and the living room contains a wood burning stove for those cosy evenings.

Cefn Y Vastre, BnB 17th century barn

Nestled in beautiful countryside with spectacular views lies a small 17th century farmhouse with a converted barn. The B&B barn provides first class Accommodation comprising: a large sitting room downstairs with a bedroom on a mezzanine floor above. Off the sitting room is a wet room and a private entrance is accessed by french doors, leading to a small outside balcony. Please Note there is NO kitchen/cooking facilities. But a fully stocked mini Breakfast bar is provided.

Glangwynedd Cottage

A cosy self catering cottage in attractive rural location near the river Dulas. Within walking distance of the old market town of Machynlleth and railway station. Close to mountains, rivers and coast. There is one bedroom with a double bed and the other bedroom sleeps 3 in bunk beds and a single bed. Downstairs in the lounge is a double sofa bed. Heating is provided by storage heaters and a woodturning stove at cooler times of the year.

You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the peacefulness of been able to have the freedom to walk and explore our hills of mid wales, straight from your door..and only 45 mins to visit the seaside of Aberystwth.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
