Just a few miles away is the village of Newborough which lies on the edge of forests and sand dunes, and is home to a population of red squirrels. Galwad y Môr simply translated as Call of the Sea is a black clad cabin that blends seamlessly into its surroundings and located at the end of a private driveway. Llanddwyn Island and beach are one of Wales’ most popular and enchanting spots to visit. Dating back to 1850, this quaint white-washed Anglesey cottage is close to the beautiful coastline including magical Llanddwyn Island, an area of outstanding natural beauty and Newborough forest. A real hidden gem, Pen y Gamfa is tucked away down a pedestrian pathway. This charming cottage comprises a lounge and bedroom area. An Aga woodburner with Welsh slate surround provides ample heat supplemented by underfloor heating. An eco extension with living roof is a later addition.

It is joined to Ysgubor Fawr (Big Barn) which is also a self contained one bedroom holiday let and is situated on the grounds of Tal y Braich farmhouse. It is set in two acres of grounds with magnificent open views towards the Menai straights and the Snowdonia Mountain range. Ynys Llanddwyn & Newborough forest are a short distance away. Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.
