Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Little Gasparilla Island

This place was awesome! It had everything I needed or wanted. The place is located near grocery and restaurants and was discovering new places every day. I wasn’t there for a vacation but the place was very relaxing after a difficult day of work. I hope to stay there again in a few months.

We loved Joanna’s space! We had two kids (ages 4 and 6) and a 2 month old and it had everything we could possibly need! Joanna was responsive and proactive. The pool kept the kids entertained for hours!

I had a wonderful time at Michelle's house. The place is beautiful and very clean, but we definitely fell in love with the pool area. Its beautiful design, along with the tiki bar, will make you spend hours without getting bored. You'll also find plenty of utensils to prepare your meals. If there's something I should point out, it's that they don't allow you to use the grill and the sink in the tiki bar, which I found a bit disappointing. I also want to point out that the house has 5 bedrooms, but only two are actually equipped for adults. The other two are children's rooms, and the third is a living room. In two of the bedrooms, my family had to sleep on inflatable mattresses. As a recommendation, it would be nice if all the rooms were equipped with conventional beds. Also, on the last day of our stay, a neighbor came over with a bad attitude to ask me to turn down the music; it was 6:00 PM and not even the music was that loud. Other than that, my overall rating is wonderful. Thanks.

Betsy’s place was very cute and welcoming! The backyard was perfect and very relaxing. Betsy was very responsible and flexible. Only feedback for future guests is to note that she does provide with a small starter pack of supplies (one paper towel, one extra garbage bag and no dish soap), so keep in mind you will need to bring your own supplies if you’re having a large group staying at the house. Otherwise, it’s a lovely space and a very quaint neighborhood! Highly recommend!

This home in Port Charlotte is fantastic! The key to a great stay in an Airbnb is a good host. I don't care how good the house is, if you don't have a good host your trip can be ruined. Holli is a great host! We had a minor issue with the pool and texted her about it. We were pulling out of the driveway 15 minutes later and the pool service guy was pulling in. I have not had a more responsive and proactive host before. We had 3 ocean days and 3 kayaking days as our main activities on our trip. I feel like the kayaking is downplayed on the website. There are 4 kayaks to choose from with paddles and life vests. The canals and Myakka river are great places to explore and nature watch. We went in late May and only ran into one other kayaker on our journeys. Venice and Siesta Key were our favorite nearby beaches! White sand and clear water beaches. The house was really fun and modern. We loved the smart couches and very large kitchen. Every part of the home was taken care of with love!

This place was excellent! I would definitely stay again. Within walking distance of the beach, the bars and the restaurants. We had a wonderful time. It is definitely a 10 out of 10. Summer was an excellent host and allowed me to check in an hour early in order to give me time to get to the airport to pick up my boyfriend. I highly recommend staying here. It is perfect for a couple.

Spacious, clean and comfortable with all the basics you could need for a short stay. Having the pool was the best part. There were plenty of options for entertainment in the house if the weather was sour. Just an hour or less to endless locations for great food and entertainment. I did not get to use the bikes but they looked so inviting and the neighborhood is quiet and nice... Would have been perfect for a ride around. I will definitely be checking availability when I'm visiting the area again. The host was friendly and available... Even though we didn't need anything. What a great way to get away.

This has been our best AirBnB experience yet! Marti was an awesome host! The unit was extremely nice and newly renovated! Very private but close to the beach and restaurants. My husband and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary and enjoyed the place so much we already booked another stay with there for later this year! The bed & pillows were comfortable and there was a nice ceiling fan! And we loved the pool!!

Isamar was a wonderful host. The apartment was really nice & had comfortable beds. It was really walkable to the downtown area and parking was easy. As other people have mentioned, the building is a little tricky to navigate but it is very nice and you’ll get the hang of finding the unit. The host was responsive and helpful and flexible with our flight changes! There is no closet in the master as it is locked - so is another bedroom and linen closet - however, there was an armoire to hang our clothes in the master bedroom it just would have been nice to have a large closet for luggage storage. The unit is well equipped with everything you need, super clean, and very comfy!

We felt that a few things could have been better clarified in the guide. 1. Guide startes "washing machine and separate dryer are in the utility room next to kitchen". Not so. Laundry facility is in the first building. Laundry room is pretty messy. 2. We figured out, hopefully correctly, that the whole back area from the 1st building to the last are "commons" area, since the beach area was not at our unit (#8). BBQ was not at our unit, but there were a couple in the presumably "commons" area. If this is so, we feel this should be mentioned in the guide. 3. Guide states propane tank is in the garage. There is no garage. 4. Safety concern - The deck could use some repairs. Screws and nails are loose. There is one board in which the end of one side has popped up. 5. Just a suggestion. Unit could use a full length mirror. Don't get me wrong. We enjoyed our stay, resident alligator and green iguana were a nice rustic addition.

As advertised… clean, updated and exactly what we needed. Enjoyed our stay. Will stay again!

Daysi was a super host. Place was amazing clean and peaceful to take time out of everyday work day. Me and my husband needed time off from the world and daysi place did that. I will be back for another getaway.

Dailyn’s casita was so wonderful, I love how she decorated everything and when you first step inside it’s like a fresh breeze. Overall all, it’s all lovely. And please if you do book this. The pool is amazing and it’s a pretty nice size!

Great stay! Very spacious. Fresh eggs were a nice touch.

Marc and Meagan were great hosts and very friendly! We loved our studio and the surrounding property was beautiful. I would definately stay here again
