“This is THE place to stay if you’re looking to have the classic Little Compton beach experience. A scenic 10 minute walk to the beach, and nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Norm was the ideal host and was friendly and helpful (responsive to messages during and before the visit). He was also very respectful of our privacy and left us to enjoy the place. Norm was also helpful in identifying local restaurants or activities (renting bikes at Earle’s) that we were able to take advantage of. The place itself was beautiful and we loved using the gas grill. The place was immaculate and the decorations were wonderful. The snacks and refreshments in the fridge were a great touch and perfect to bring along to the beach. We will 100% be back.”
Spectacular rural views and natural light. Perfect getaway from crowds. Curl up with a good book and then have a hot soak in the slipper tub! Super insulated, warm and cozy. Ceramic pellet stove adds ambiance. The 1,200 sq ft retreat is newly renovated. It is located 3 miles from public access Goosewing Beach, and abuts 10 acres of Agricultural Conservancy farm land. Exclusive access to 1.5 baths, and a 750 sq ft open space with kitchen, living, and dining. Dog friendly.
“We rented Luke’s lovely home with our dog for a week coming from NYC. We had a wonderful time. We only used the master bedroom, which was spacious and had a beautiful master bath. One thing of note is that there is no door to the bathroom in the master suite- we were just 2 ppl so we used the 2nd bedroom but if you are a newer couple the door less bathroom may be of note. Kitchen and living space was big and open with beautiful views to the garden and farm. Our French bulldog absolutely loved exploring the property and lounging in the sun. We cooked most meals at home and ate on the deck or at the long table. It was super relaxing to just hang around the house, read on the loungers and enjoy the view. Little Compton is a wonderful little town, very farmy with little produce stands everywhere. A few places we recommend: Walker Roadside (8 min from house) - great produce, homemade pies and even lobster rolls and dells lemonade. No meat. - Orrs farmstand- in Westport- another great farmstand - Westport lobster- 15 minutes away in MA great fresh fish and lobsters. Westport sea farms- Oysters and lobster rolls Beaches Due to Covid restrictions beaches were a bit tricky and frustrating to navigate. The town beach, South Shore Beach basically doesn’t allow any non residents unless you get there at like 8 am. Lloyd’s beach- this is a private dog friendly beach that we were allowed on and was recommended by the owner. It’s rocky with lots of seaweed so not great for swimming but beautiful to sit and hang out. Horse neck beach- MA- large sandy beach - more typical beach but ppl were socially distancing. $40 for non MA license plate was steep but one of the few options for a swimming beach. About 20 minutes away.”

“This stay was absolutely wonderful! A dream come true! I could not have asked for anything better. Everything was top notch. The apartment was so beautiful and clean, and in the perfect location! Not to mention the view! One of the things that I loved was driving across Easton’s beach and being able to see the mansion from that side. It is absolutely stunning! A huge thank you to the host, Anthony, for such clear communication and making this such an amazing experience!”
