Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Litteau

Maryse, Phillipe & family were very welcoming and friendly from the start. They speak very little English, but I speak very little French - this is no problem as they are always smiling and very helpful and for me this just enhances the experience. There is lots of space for vehicles, and they even let me store my motorbike in their shed. The Gite is absolutely immaculate! As soon as you enter the door it smells so fresh and clean, you can tell a lot of effort goes into the cleaning regime at this property, perfect. The shower is incredible too!It has everything you need for you stay and is very comfortable. Thank you Maryse & Philipe, I hope to see you again in the future.

Stay extra although very short. As a family, we were hosted very well in this nature oasis with animals. The space is ultra-functional and met our needs perfectly. We'll be back!

Oh what a wonderful place for a large group. Communication with host Michael was very good both by email and in person, his English was far better than our French. The accommodation was majestic and everywhere was clean. We were a group of 12 seniors, and although a rural location was central to all the D day celebrations with the furthest beaches only 25 miles away. Very spacious, very well-equipped and welcoming accommodation. Some chocolates were waiting for us on arrival: we found this small touch very thoughtful. The space was perfectly equipped for a long stay. Great for a long stay.

3rd time in this place and in any weather and any time of the year, the charm always works. We simply feel good there as it is peaceful. The cottage is super well equipped and the children love the games, the garden, Fernand the donkey etc... In short, we just hope to come back a 4th time :-)

I booked with Guillaume for my parents who had a pleasant stay. Everything was perfect, the accommodation is exactly as advertised. They recommend this place! They won't hesitate to book new ones if they come back to the area!

The host was welcoming and immediately gave us the information to access the accommodation. The location is perfect because it is in the center of Bayeux and 2 minutes from the cathedral. I highly recommend the owner and the accommodation.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Milene’s place. It was so clean, just as pictured, plenty of coffee, comfortable beds. We could not have found a better place to stay. Conveniently and centrally located with great restaurants and attractions nearby. I would totally recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The view was amazing and the place had everything we were looking for. The host was very responsive when we needed to reach her. I would definitely recommend this place to others who are looking to get away from the city for a few days.

We really enjoyed our stay. The flat was flawlessly cleaned and really comfortable. The bathroom shower is particularly great and we enjoyed the view of town from the balcony and the farms out the back window. The place made for a great home base while we explored some of the surrounding area in Normandy. Would recommend!

Pleasant stay at Karin's. Close to the city center and the sea. Nearby shops and a beautiful walk along the coast.

The accommodation offered by David is tip top! Calm, breathtaking sea views, sunset from the "veranda terrace", a location 20 minutes from Caen that allows you to enjoy the city, the countryside and the seaside! What else can I say? An available host, and finally, a nice decor that adds charm to this romantic weekend on the beaches of Normandy! You can rent with your eyes closed!

We were warmly received. We were shown around and everything was shown to us. The area is very nice and you can do a lot. A walk on the beach is a must. The place is very nice and offers everything you need.

My son and I stayed 2 nights in Yannicks apartment, it has restored my faith in air bnb after a dreadful experience in Paris, the apartment is better than the pictures, the location is 10/10, the apartment was immaculately clean, I slept on the sofa and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in since arriving in France 1 week ago. The town of Bayeux is the prettiest town I have ever seen and the apartment was 5 minutes walk to everything we needed. THANK YOU for allowing us to stay in your amazing apartment Yannick.

The apartment is superb. It is well equipped. Olivier was very attentive and answered our questions. The place is very nice and is an ideal starting point to visit the beaches of Desembarco and the part of L'Havre. Very close to the beach. I recommend it 100%

Very central, but also quiet. The cathedral is at the bottom of the road, where there is also a good selection of restaurants of differing kinds. The lace museum and art museum are right by the cathedral. Bayeux Tapestry Museum is a few minutes walk away . The main shopping road is also close by. Parking was easy to find and free. Communications with Guy were excellent and very quick responses. We were there Monday to Friday and there is a small market on Wednesday close to the tourist office but the one on Saturday is supposed to be very good. It’s at the top end of the main shopping street. Would highly recommend the apartment. It’s up one flight of stairs.

Sandrine's appartment was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very handy to the supermarket, easy to bike into the city and we appreciated having a secure place in the cellar to store our bicycles.
