We had a wonderful stay at Villa Despina! The location is fantastically quiet, perfect for relaxing, and at the same time a good base for exploring the south of Crete. The villa itself is very clean, lovingly furnished and well equipped – from the kitchen to the beautiful outdoor area with pool, everything was well maintained. We particularly liked the warm hospitality and the little touches when we arrived. We felt right at home! A real highlight: the fantastic view of the surrounding nature and the sunsets in the evening. We will be happy to come back and can recommend Villa Despina to anyone looking for peace, comfort and Cretan warmth. Thank you for everything!

Breathtaking views! Do you want a clean and beautiful accommodation? Then you've come to the right place! 🤩 The accommodation is modern, clean and well equipped. The outdoor area is simply perfect, great seating, mega pool also for kids and with the spa whirlpool simply a paradise! Not to mention this beautiful view of the sunset 🤩 Not only is the accommodation perfect, but the hosts, Maria and Savas, are great hosts! Friendly and courteous, and always available! They brought toys for my son and despite the fierce challenge with the Sahara dust, they did everything to ensure that we could enjoy our holiday 100% 😊 We are already looking forward to our next visit to Crete and to Maria. Thank 🥰 you for everything!

Absolutely perfect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Everything worked like a charm and we felt right at home since day one. The host warmly welcomed us and we quickly settled in. All the rooms were spacious and clean. There were two equal bedrooms both with their own en suite bathrooms. Each room had its own control for the AC which was very quiet and cooled the room really fast. The living room had a huge comfortable sofa and beautiful decor! The outdoor terrace was spacious and the plunge pool was really clean. There were two huge sunbeds large enough for at least four people in total and a view to die for! There were also private sunbeds right outside the villa on the cobble beach. All in all a total 5/5 experience and we can’t wait to visit again!

A Slice of Heaven in Crete. Our stay in this beautifully designed home was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by peaceful olive groves and bathed in Cretan sunshine, every moment felt serene and special. The sweet little pool was the perfect place to unwind, and the home itself was as stunning as it was comfortable. The hosts were warm, thoughtful, and made us feel truly welcome. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already planning our return.

The house itself is modern, stylish and equipped with everything you could wish for. The spacious pool and the breathtaking view of the Cretan landscape all the way to the sea inspired us every day. But what really makes this place special is the host. From the first moment, he was incredibly warm, helpful and attentive – after a very short time, it felt as if we had found a friend on site. Whether tips for excursions, restaurant recommendations or just a nice conversation - he was always there for us and made our stay something very special. DejaView is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy and feel good. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for a relaxing vacation, and we really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Communication with the host was smooth and easy.

A short walk from downtown Kalyves, but far removed from the hustle and bustle of the town of Kalyves. Several good places to eat, with some services such as medical and a pharmacy, a couple small markets with enough provisions. The location had absolutely amazing views of the bay of Souda, very private and quiet. The property is secured by an electric gate, to keep wandering tourists away, in that this accommodation appears historical in nature, maybe all that’s left of an old kastelli, based on the rock walls. I could be wrong, but I would guess that the actual accommodation is what used to be the powder magazine for the old fort. We enjoyed the place immensely.

Excellent location and house

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the roof terrace and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought the sea would be missing, but that wasn't the case at all. We really came to rest – walks in the area were enough for that. Actually, we planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice excursions, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. We spent a week at Eva's place, in a very quiet location surrounded by nature - including beautiful views of the sea. The nearest beach is within walking distance, tamarisk trees even provide shade for longer stays. The nearby village of Lendas has nice taverns and 2 small mini-markets for everyday items. Eva is a very friendly and helpful hostess. The atmosphere in the accommodation, with other residents, is cozy and pleasant. The lovingly furnished amenities of the room offer everything you need in everyday life and are also very comfortable for just lingering. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment is faithful to the description, a functional and welcoming house, furnished with excellent taste. Separate kitchen, possibility of cooking outdoors and outdoor space that further enhances the holiday. The real added value. Host always available to our requests for information. For the second time, we have enjoyed this beautiful house. It was a feeling of coming home. Even when we were in need of health care, we were well taken care of and received great help. We highly recommend this house, it is really great and we slept so well, as we haven't in a long time. We will definitely be happy to come back...

We spent 2 weeks in the wonderful house. The property is very well equipped. Everything is also very tidy and clean. The outdoor area is also generously designed. Numerous sun loungers, but also plenty of shaded areas in the heat. The hammock is an excellent place to relax. Surrounded by olive trees, the house is quiet. Pure nature. Upon our arrival, we found fresh fruit and even a homemade cake. The location is great for the southern part of the island. However, as is the case everywhere in Crete, a rental car is necessary. A good bakery is 800m away. A large supermarket is 5 minutes away by car. Matala about 20 minutes. Communication with the host was problem-free. We got helpful tips. A great stay. We enjoyed the time very much. Gladly again at any time.

We slept 4 adults at Mr. Giorgos' accommodation. It was all thoughtful with love and care so that nothing was missing from the guest. We found everything we needed inside and more. The cleanliness was excellent, you can see it as soon as you enter and then in the smallest detail. If we find ourselves from here at some point we will prefer it, beyond that we recommend it - all four of us - unreservedly. Thank you so much! 🙏🏻

Amazing place to stay for some relaxation. The room is very clean and has a beautiful view on the sea, and the shower was super nice and warm. The hostess Maria was very nice and was always ready to help us. There’s a small restaurant nearby called Maria (a different Maria), and she makes the best food and is incredibly nice. Our stay here was amazing!

Very very Beautiful Apartment and a Yard just for yourself to use and hang out. Perfekt for Couples or Families. There is also a small village with a little shop for some quick shopping. But in 30min you are in Heraklion and at beautiful beaches. Also Georgia is very kind and looks after you! Would def recommend and come back :)

We felt very comfortable right from the start and were completely satisfied with the accommodation. In addition to the wonderful terrace with a fantastic view, the accommodation has a very good location. You can reach restaurants, supermarkets and the beach within a few minutes. We are always happy to come back. :)

Simply stunning apartment, glorious views and easy access to the little village of Kalyves. We spent most days by the pool and evenings eating at the many restaurants by the beach. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the views from the living room are stunning. Eleni is an attentive and very responsive host who looked after us extremely well. We will be back very soon!

The location is special, we celebrated it. Beautifully located. Totally quiet and a little off the beaten path. We were feeling absolutely safe. The local restaurants were just open at the beginning of May - it's village-like. Car is necessary. The prices fair, the people friendly. Visiting free-living cats. A cat has born her kittens near the accommodation and feels part of the house. The first micromarket is 5 minutes away, in Gazi (10 min) there are larger shopping opportunities. The bathroom is small and like everything about the house lovingly designed. From the height of 180 cm, the use of the toilet requires some flexibility because of the legroom. The house is a dream if you want to relax and come down.
