Guests have access to the patio area but the garden is private. Muckruss Lodge Clonakilty An Oasis of Tranquility

Nestled between the rolling hills and only minutes from the coastline in the heart of West Cork is our delightful Gate Lodge. The newly built lodge sits at the entrance to our home Muckruss House. The Lodge is situated on its original site which dates back to the 16th Century when it was the home to the Gatekeeper of Muckruss. It is still very much part of local history which is why we have retained its historic charm while at same time creating an air of modern sophistication within .

This is a beautiful recently renovated courtyard cottage (adults only) offering luxury accommodation with beautiful views over the gardens, lake, pool and a lovely wooded valley, just a short drive from Clonakilty. It has been lovingly decorated to a very high standard. The courtyard is accessed by a beautiful archway.
