We really enjoyed our stay with Erick and Isabelle - they are wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcome, including organising a tasting of local Corbières wines, and a separate vinegar tasting. The house is beautiful, and very well equipped - for dinner, we could take our pick between bbqing outside on the terrace or cooking in the kitchen. For swimming, we were spoilt for choice, able to swim in the pool as well as in the river below the house. The countryside around the house is great for walks (and the nearby village is easily walkable), but it is quite remote, so a car is needed to get around, and to visit almost any of the nearby sights beyond the village. It was an amazing holiday, and having this great place to stay was a really important part of it!

A place in the middle of nature, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the pool. We had a great week with the family, I would recommend it. The only downside is the presence of wasps.

The Gîte des Oliviers is simplicity combined with elegance, rusticity combined with comfort. This pretty restored house reflects our hosts: pleasant, welcoming, warm. The human encounter with Nathalie, Christophe and one of their sons, as well as the landscape, the daily sunshine, the services in accordance with the photos and their descriptions, contributed to our stay going wonderfully! We also enjoyed the welcome gifts from the family production (Lucques olives, wines, olive oil)... A treat and a pleasure to give! Thank you very much! Looking forward to seeing you again!

Very comfortable, clean and well-equipped. A nice super-maintained pool, even if unfortunately the weather upset us a lot. But the end of September is also a risk on our part. A good memory for us.

We had a wonderful holiday all together. The house provided plenty of space for our group of 15 aged 2 - 74 to enjoy themselves in their own way. The surrounding countryside was peaceful and beautiful and the main pool room was fantastic.

Fabulous house, just like the photos. The pool was wonderful, just the right temperature to cool off and lovely surroundings to sit and relax. The house had plenty of space for a family of 5, comfortable beds, much needed air conditioning, large modern bathrooms and all the amenities you need. We liked the extra modern touches, such as a Sonos in most rooms to play music and also the Nintendo Switch, PS4, movies and Netflix for some fun and relaxation in the evenings. Carcasonne town is lovely, with some great restaurants. We loved the nearby lake which was in walking distance. Lots of activities for the kids, paddle boarding, pedaloes and aqua park. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. Thank you Guillaume and Emilie for a wonderful holiday!

Very comfortable and spacious accomodation with great views and easy access to the citadel and Ville Basse. Well equipped kitchen and several options for eating in and outdoors. Entertainment includes bicycles, table tennis and nice pool. Pierre communicated well and responded quickly to any queries.

Very pleasant stay in the Dardé property, comfortable and well-equipped cottage,Thanks to Edith for her warm welcome and availability .. Quiet weekend to recommend for lovers of hiking or mountain biking .

We had a great weekend with 17 people! The house is spacious and the exteriors too. The many bathrooms are very popular for large groups. The kitchen is very well equipped. Hosts are responsive. In short, excellent value for money! I highly recommend! Thank you for this stay!

The house is lovely, the rooms are all so different, this really is the home of artists! …and it absolutely makes the most of the stunning views across the valley. We only stayed for 2 nights but we managed to visit Carcassonne, which is well worth the trip and not very far away. We stocked up on food and drink at a supermarket and had a great couple of nights in playing games and catching up with our friends. The infinity pool looked amazing, and the hot tub was great fun, I would highly recommend having a dip. We even strolled to the local tennis courts one morning for a game. Melanie and Colin were great hosts, they had some good suggestions for things to do locally. I would definitely come back to this house and this area, but next time I want to stay longer.

We absolutely loved this house. Plenty of space for a big family. Tastefully decorated in French styling. Well equipped with kitchenware - they've thought of everything. Lots of games for inside and out to keep kids (and adults!) happy. Pool fenced with access via security door in pool house to keep kiddies safe. Thick house walls were warm on cooler nights but cool on hot days. Beautiful location - photo's really don't do that view justice. The mountains are stunning. Just loved sitting outside on the terrace or at the poolside enjoying that gorgeous view. Close enough to town for a leisurely walk there, if you want to have a wee drinky with your meal, but far enough away that you just hear the birds singing when sitting in the garden - perfect. Mitch and James were the best hosts ever. Super friendly and helpful. Gave us lots of useful advice re the local area. Couldn't ask for nicer hosts. Made us feel so welcome that we felt like we were visiting friends. Would 100% recommend.

The house, gardens and pool are beautiful and the furnishings, tasteful and of high quality. Marianne is very responsive and it was lovely to meet her and to spend time in this fabulous house. The people we met in the village were lovely and the local restaurant (literally through the garden gate) is very good. A super holiday!

Hélène's place met our expectations. Well located, just 20 minutes from the city of Carcassonne while remaining in a peaceful location. The house has everything you need for a pleasant stay, the pool and the view are real +es to give even + more charm to the house. We would recommend it and will gladly come back.

Quiet house, very nice and very well maintained. The check-in instructions were clear and easy. The outside and the pool are also perfect!

Kim and Duncan were very friendly hosts and made us feel very welcome. We were very impressed with our accommodation, it was exactly what we were hoping for. We enjoyed the pool area and there was ample space for the children to run around. The property was tucked away yet not too far by car from the local boulangerie which we find important when visiting France! Kim and Duncan’s dog, is a delight and the children looked forward to his daily visits. He was definitely the icing on the cake for us. We would highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in the area.

The house was very well equipped and would have everything for 6 people. The area was quiet and you would need a car. Lovely place.

This very well designed and appointed home was an oasis of quiet, nature and time to relax. We loved everything about our stay and hope to return when the weather is a bit warmer for us to enjoy the outdoors even more.

Excellent stay 2 nights 7 people. Very good hospitality and small welcome gifts. Tips for local tours and restaurants. Very clear explanations for how everything works. Superb indoor and outdoor relaxation area but the pool deserves a night cover as it is not heated. The 2 upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom and toilet. Fully equipped. We had a great weekend. We had an incredible stay in a beautiful tranquil village. Ciara was great beforehand and we can't fault it. The kids (7, 10 and 12) spent most of the week in the pool. We walked up to the museum remembering the WW2 resistance and I went for beautiful runs in the woods. The local swimming lake was a great day out, and we pottered around a few of the beautiful vibrantl markets and visited a local Château so a true french experience. I hope we get to visit again.
