Once a 19th-century horse stable, this Tuscan home was discovered by my mother : a Dutch artist and traveller, she moved here in search of beauty, nature and light. She stayed for twenty years. My brother and my daughter grew up running barefoot on these ancient terracotta floors. Villa Vetteglia is built on a hilltop, the views are 360 degrees. 3 bed (with AC) and 3 bath (beds 7/8 are a comfortable pull out bed in the living room) The location is private and remote yet close to Lucca, Pisa, Florence. Bagni di Lucca (for shopping) is 7km. About the location, it is on a asphalted mountain road, but see the pics before you make a booking :)

Perfect accommodation for romantic couples, families with children with their dogs. This home is a beautiful 18th century barn conversion, and one of the few stand alone properties in the village. It is located at the top of the village, where guests can avail of parking just a two-minute walk from the house. The views and scenery are stunning from the windows and spacious private garden.
