The cabin has a steep slope at the front, but it is fenced. There is a parking space with a main road leading to the cabin and to the cabin itself; the road up to the cabin is somewhat narrow. Large deck with tables and chairs. The cabin has running water. The cabin has a brand new toilet. Internet and TV don't work. Enclosed terrace with sliding door/windows. 2 bedrooms with bunk beds. 2 bedrooms with double bed for two people.

Driving times: 10 min to Lillesand and Brekkestø, 20 min to the Zoo, Ikea and Sørlandssenteret, 30 min to Grimstad, Kristiansand and Kjevik airport, 40 min to Arendal. A peaceful, unique and child-friendly place – ideal for both holidays and pleasant overnight stays in transit with loved ones.

The hen house

Relax with the family at Hønsehuset. Unique small cabin between Lillesand and Dyreparken with a total of 6 beds! In 1965, the old chicken coop was converted to a rental cabin, hence the great name😊 The cabin is an annex, but although the houses are close together, it feels both private and peaceful. There is the option of having a swim at a private jetty, about 90 metres to the sea. Otherwise, the cabin has a garden area and a veranda at the back. It takes 10-12 minutes to drive to Dyreparken and 7 minutes to Lillesand.

Here you can start the day with your morning coffee by the window, take a refreshing swim, enjoy the sun on the jetty or just relax and watch the life on the sea. This is not a modern holiday home with luxury and a high standard. Naustet has a simple and practical interior, characterised by its age and history. In return, you get an authentic experience close to nature and marine life.

Beautiful calm fjord, lots of fish and crabs, short boat trip to the outer islands to feel the ocean. Nice boat trips behind the islands. Climbing connection. zipline., tubing and waterski. Bigger more stable Yamarin 15 foot with 100hp 4stroke Yamaha can be rented for 1000kr a night or a Musling 14 with 60hp yamaha 4stroke for 800kr a night.
