Our secluded log cabin is located on a bluff overlooking the Big Piney River. We are in the heart of the Ozarks near Licking, Missouri (Texas County) and just a 2 l/2 hour drive southwest of St. Louis, Missouri.
“Although this is a hidden gem that I would love to keep to myself, I can’t help but tell everyone about this quaint little cabin in a perfect area! Being from the city, we don’t get to experience the greatness of true nature very often. But when we set up a fire at night, all we heard was the crackling of the fire, and the occasional moo of the cow in the field below. It was truly a fantastically cozy cabin and Michael and Arlene were fantastic hosts. We already cannot wait to go back for another weekend!”
Nestled in the heart of the Ozark Hills, our stone cabin offers guests a secluded place to unwind and enjoy nature. Our cabin has running hot water, but no electricity or a flushing toilet. The outhouse is a short walk away and propane lamps provide lighting. The cabin is accessible by a private, half-mile gravel trail. It is best if guests have a four-wheel-drive or high profile two-wheel drive vehicle.
“Renee is an amazing host and we loved all the small touches that truly make her Airbnb stand out. We would recommend her Airbnb to anyone who is wanting to celebrate a special occasion or even just want a quick weekend get away. We had the privilege of staying at Renee’s Airbnb during Valentine’s Day and we wouldn’t change a thing it was perfect all around. Renee was so quick to reply extremely helpful and she was even able to allow us to check in later then we expected! If anyone is considering staying stop considering it and do it you will not regret it!”
Come enjoy a peaceful stay at our 2 bedroom, log inspired guest house. Full bed downstairs and queen in loft bedroom. Spend a relaxing evening around the firepit or in the shade in a hammock, listening to nature as it reveals itself.
“We loved our stay at Karen and Bob’s cabin while in town for a family wedding. This place is the very definition of peace and quiet, we only wish the early March weather had been a bit warmer to take advantage of all the thoughtful outdoor touches. It was a perfect getaway for our small family and I will 100% seek it out again the next time we need to visit “down home”.”
