Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. The Little Lodge at the Tea Farm

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located amid long-standing pines and across the road from Louisiana's only tea farm. This cabin features a loft with bunk-beds and a twin bed. Downstairs there is a separate bedroom with a queen size bed. Fish in the stocked pond or go ziplining across the pond! Canoes are also on site to paddle around on the pond. Hike our trails, play pool in loft, watch our smart tv or upon request take tour of tea farm across the street.

Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.

You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
