“Stamatis’s place is an absolute treasure, nestled in a tiny village where you feel as if you are having a taste of real Greece. Old ladies on doorsteps wishing you “Good Health” and men talking outside cafes on the square. The cottage is immaculate, well equipped and a joy to be in. The terrace outside is lovely for breakfast and an evening drink. Stamatis couldn’t do enough for us and his Mum next door was very welcoming and smiley- dropping off eggs and a beach umbrella when we requested one. We didn’t hire a car- taxi from airport was 40 euros and glad we didn’t as streets are too narrow for tourists. We walked 2 miles to a lovely beach at Limni and less to Rovinia with two children who didn’t moan that much, especially when in the shade of gorgeous olive groves. If you book here you won’t regret it, especially if you like a quieter, authentic taste of Corfu.”
Spacious & light studio in a quiet Corfu costal village. 5 Mins walk to local pools and 10 mins walk to two beautiful beach's. Tea & Coffee facility's. Fridge
“The place was very clean, very calm and quiet, nice style, comfortable beds, parking right there, bakery, pools, 10 minute walk downhill to the local beach, , close to the picturesque, old village, where there is a tavern with local food called Marineris. Mrs Patricia is a wonderful hostess and we had a lovely time in the White house and we recommend this apartment to everybody. We gonna come back for sure.”
Village House is an entire traditional, renovated, autonomous house. It is a house on its own in a courtyard shared with a house of a permanent resident. Situated in Liapades village one of the most beautiful areas of Corfu Island and just 10 min walk from the main beaches. This house is ideal for tourists who wish to have a contact with the culture of local people and the way which they living.
“This is a pleasant accommodation for two (or one), a good outlook, spotlessly clean, traditional in basic style but modernised, with a large bathroom including washing machine. Host and family (who live in another part of the house, across the courtyard) very friendly, generous and helpful. The village is unpretentious, and not touristy (not anyway at the time I visited in late October - when the weather was very pleasant and swimming fine). There is a good beach within walking distance and others near enough. Be careful if you rent a car, the roads are very narrow in villages and also badly surfaced. It could be quite easy to damage your car. If you can manage it confidently, I should say a good way to travel about would be by scooter or motorbike. There is a place you can hire them in the village - also where you can hire boats. lots of towels including beach towels are provided. Also a hairdryer. Highly recommended.”
