Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lewis and Harris

We enjoyed a delightful long weekend at Croft 41. The house was perfect for our needs (two families with kids), the location absolutely stunning, and the wood-fired hot tub was also real highlight! Rachel is a very friendly and communicative host. Would definitely return in the future if we were looking to stay in this beautiful corner of Skye.

The cottage was perfect — it had everything we needed and then some. Lots of thoughtful extra touches that made our stay really comfortable and easy. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again. A brilliant spot on Harris!

Clean, spacious, warm and quiet home on a quiet residential road. The property overlooks a loch joining the sea and is great for calm and quiet. Mac was very responsive and we had no problems. We loved the space and it was a well equipped kitchen which is not always a given. WiFi was great if you need it and the heating etc was all straightforward and effective. Lovely having two bathrooms too. Near various historic sites. And also pretty beaches (20-30 mins drive), and a lovely play park if you have kids near Eoropie Beach.

Such a beautiful opportunity to experience the quiet and authentic side of Stornaway. We loved every minute we spent at The Bunker! The views were spectacular and the sunrises/sunsets ever changing. The kitchen was sprinkled with locally baked treats and even homemade jam for us to enjoy. It was such a delight. The only drawback, for me personally, is how I move forward with no warming towel rack in my life!! I can’t unfeel the delightfulness of warmed clothes on a chilly morning. They are not common in the states. On a scale of one to ten, The Bunker was easily a 72 ;).

We had such a lovely stay in Portree at Maggie's beautiful home. We were greeted with a generous 'starter' kit in the fridge unlike any we've seen before - enough for breakfast, lunch, coffee and snacks.... such a sweet and thoughtful touch! The home was lovely and the views amazing. An easy walk to town two nights for dinners out, as well as a lovely kitchen for cooking when desired. So glad we had 5 days here and could really enjoy the home as well as the town. Maggie's home is just inside the Portree limits and suited us to a T. She was very responsive and a lovely host. Highly recommend.

Lovely and perfect for our family - comfortable, charming, and surrounded by Highland beauty. Waking up each morning to the soft light spilling over the hills and tranquil waters across the road with sheep grazing felt like something out of a storybook. And oh so clean! It’s truly a place to savor for larger families, with large rooms to gather and cozy places to retreat to. It enhanced our trip in ways we didn’t expect, and we left feeling completely recharged and inspired by the beauty of Skye. We’re already dreaming of our return. Highly, highly recommended. This is a true Scottish gem.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Gordon’s home. The setting is beyond beautiful- even better than the pictures. One of our favorite things to do for this trip was just sit on the deck and look at the amazing view. The home exceeded all expectations as well. One of the best AB&B’s!

The pictures in the profile didn’t do justice to this amazing home from home. Plenty of room, the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the view seeing several eagles and an owl from the property. We hope we have the opportunity to stay again sometime.

Would highly recommend this property for exploring the North of Skye. Beautiful peaceful surroundings and a comfortable pod. The addition of a wood BBQ and coffee pod machine were added bonuses. Sally and Adam were great hosts. Made a point of coming to welcome us and were always about with friendly suggestions or to ask how our day had gone. We had a lovely stay at the pod.

Wonderful cabins with stunning views, perfect for a relaxing getaway. There are Cafes and Restaurants easily reachable by car as well as beautiful hikes. Can highly recommend!!

Our favorite stay during our visit to Scotland! I have (exceptionally) high standards, and Sandra’s place was wonderful. Comfortable, extremely clean, and in a gorgeous setting. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen and living areas were lovely as well. We had stunning sunsets both nights and wished we’d booked it for a few extra days!

Couldn’t have stayed at a more perfect place on the Isle of Skye. The drive over is incredibly scenic and the place had incredible views of the water. Eilidh was super friendly and introduced us to her goats, chickens and ducks. Absolutely lovely. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay, what a beautiful location! One thing we really appreciated was the large selection of dvds on one rainy evening.

A truly beautiful and peaceful place amongst the pines. The cabin felt luxurious but totally conscious of its surroundings and impact. Love the ethos of Turadh, helping to rejuvenate others whilst reviving yourself! Communication with the owners was great, checking that everything was fine and we had everything we needed. It was snowing in the mountains but didn't feel cold at all in the cabin - excellent insulation and wood burner ! The weather gods smiled on us but it's the sort of place it doesn't matter if they don't. Lots of walks, both close to the cabin and in and around the soaring peaks - a landscape photographer's dream (the light!). If you want go out and about be aware that early March some cafes / galleries etc are closed and even the open ones tend to be shut Mon / Tue. On the plus side the midgies aren't operating either. All-in-all a great experience with wonderful hosts - would love to visit again.

Great sized, über clean log cabin, more than enough room to swing several cats! Very well appointed with great communication with the host, would highly recommend and definitely use again 😊👍

Fantastic location, super suitable accommodation, everything prepared tip-top, fast, friendly communication. Our desire for a short, relaxing holiday was far exceeded!
