Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lewis and Harris

This is the most pleasant and scenic place I've ever stayed in the UK! I originally wanted to book a hotel in Portree, but when I saw the photos of this place, I felt it would be great, and I was very satisfied! Aileen is a very enthusiastic host, and we had a super fun chat with her. She also showed us her meaningful collection, and her occasional humor made us laugh. This is the warmth and style of the Highlands, which I really like. If I come to the Highlands again, I will definitely stay here again to enjoy the pleasant scenery!

We loved our time at Chrissie's. She is such a lovely host, who made us feel so welcome and right at home. We had many lovely chats with her and and a few cuddles with her dog Archie. :) Highly recommend.

Perfect location and very comfortable and clean accommodations. Two adult friends travelling together. The space was big enough for us to feel like we could move around and not bump into each other (as we felt in other places on our trip).

We loved Maureen for her hospitality, her smile, her kindness, her generosity and her patience with us. We had an excellent exchange despite the language barrier, she took the time to give us good advice. Excellent cook, she cooked us a delicious breakfast😋😋😋. (Maureen, can you give us the recipe for your mushrooms?😋😋😋😋😉). Our room is decorated with great taste. We slept well. Too bad we only spent one night. We advise travellers to go and meet them. We loved our stay here, the view from the living room is amazing and we loved the breakfast’s every morning! The bedroom was very small but they allow you to use the living area too so not too bad. We also loved the two dogs! Perfect location for visiting the Isle of Skye - would stay here again if we were up.

Quite compact but fine for a night or two with a large and clean shared bathroom. The plug-in heater came in particularly useful. Good value when compared to accommodation prices in Portree

Elizabeth is a welcoming, warm and friendly host. She has a raft of recommendations locally and all around Scotland.

Isabel was an amazing host. She was there to welcome us to her home, showed us around, and made us feel extremely welcome. The School house itself is in a peaceful location in the countryside, central to everywhere on the Isle of Skye. The breakfast included with the stay was also an appreciated amenity. I would definitely stay at this Airbnb again.

Christine and Howard were exceptional hosts. Their generosity was more than anything one could wish for . The breakfast the welcome basket, there was so much to choose from . We felt right at home and very comfortable from the start and they were both ready to help and support in anyway. Howard is a mind of information and brilliant to chat to , he was very helpful and gave us lots more of information of where to go on our walks. Thank you Christine and Howard x

We felt comfortable and the location was very good. We spent 2 nights here and explored the island from here.

Its remote, and eating out is not possible after 19:00, bokings esential, drive over the hils is hard

We loved our stay at Carol's B&B. It was easy to walk straight into town from there, only one block from the square. Carol was warm and friendly when we showed up and very welcoming. The apartment was exactly what we expected. Only had trouble with the funky British lock on the door but I am not mechanically inclined. And Carol has exact instructions right on the door on how to do it. Just requires some patience, that's all.

Great place to stay to escape the Scottish weather. Nice clean space, lovely restaurant and the sauna is a welcome addition! Would recommend for two people.

A super nice and relaxte location. Very close to all the main highlights of Isle of Skye (fairy glen, old man of storr and quiraing). The host is super friendly and helpful. Would recommend this to anyone.

Glyn is such a wonderful, welcoming host. The breakfast was amazing and the BnB was the perfect peaceful hideaway on Skye.

Vicki and John made our holiday on the Isle of Skye unforgettable, as we could not have dreamed. They were excellent hosts who spoiled us with fresh pastries every day and we felt at home from the first minute. Vicki and John were always available to us and gave us valuable excursion tips. Your entire accommodation is more lovingly and thoughtfully furnished than at home; there was plenty of reading and binoculars to enjoy the view. We were also allowed to use their common living area. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely come back when we travel to Scotland.

If you are looking for stylish, comfortable, peaceful, scenic accommodation with all the amenities you could need near Stornoway look no further . Wendy was very pro-active in communication and friendly when we met . The full Scottish breakfast was to-die-for. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for a couple.

The place was spotless and the breakfast was very good! Access to Elean Donan Castle very easily on foot! It was perfect, I recommend it!

Helen could not have been kinder, both prior to arrival, on arrival and throughout my stay. She went out of her way to accommodate me and really made me feel at home. She made me a delicious meal and made sure that I had options despite me having a dietary requirement. My whole experience was positive.
