It would be hard to imagine a better location on Favignana. There is a beach right out front with great snorkeling and beautiful stone structures. The most amazing beach on the island is right around the corner and the main square is a 5 minute ride away. If I could have one vacation spot for the rest of my life it would be Maria’s beachside stone cottage. Her home is a true gem full of charm and a personal touch that is obviously full of love and care for the place and it’s surroundings. The sound of the sea at night and the breeze floating in over you while you sleep is so refreshing and the views from the veranda were spectacular. I am so grateful for our time there. We will be back soon and as often as possible.

House located in the west of the island a few km from the town, surrounded by an oasis of plants, olive trees, flowers, lawn, all very well maintained! Sunset view with Marettimo in the background. A welcoming and functional place. Roberto is an attentive and helpful host. Very positive and recommended experience.

We were sad to leave Antonella's home. It is in a beautiful location right by the sea. Antonella was a wonderful and always available host. Trapani, Erice and San Vito Lo Capo are all a 30 min car journey away. The Villa is a perfect location as a base to explore the western side of Sicily or you can just relax, enjoy the villa and the gentle sound of the waves and practice on the piano :) Thankyou Antonella.

If only I could give more than 5*. Rosa' s place is spotless clean and so nicely done- feels comfortable and functional in same time. I liked the attention to details, and tbh, the place looks way better than in the pictures. You can see bot sunrise and sunset from the bedroom, not to mention that you are close to everything - such a special place is Marettimo. If returning to Marettimo, definitely I will try booking Rosa's place again.
