Our location at the foot of Blue Mountain has become ideal for a new reason. It is pleasant to self-isolate in this private suite (living room, bedroom, bathroom and "almost-kitchen") on 5 acres. Seven miles from Hawk Mountain, and 3 miles from hiking (including the Appalacian Trail), biking, and the historic borough of Hamburg. Although rural, it is close to grocery shopping and restaurants offering take-out. Enjoy pure comfort in our solar and geothermal heated and cooled modern house.
“Martha is the best Airbnb host that I've ever had - she deserves her status as Superhost! Martha is caring and always checking in to see what I need. During my 30-day stay, Martha got the place a toaster after I asked if there was one, and replaced the refrigerator all the next day when the ice was melting a little bit. She is attentive, kind, caring, and super sweet. I love walking around Martha's 5 acres and taking in the nature, views of the blue mountains, her growing forest, and even watching her cat Bella fake-hunt! I love walking through Martha's studio to get to my art studio place, as I get to admire all the artwork she displays in her studio, and throughout the airbnb place! I always feel inspired after seeing the masterpieces not only from Martha, her husband Jay, but also from friends around the world, like special Cuban pieces. Martha's place is cozy and comfortable, and the wifi was fast. The bed is wonderful, and I always slept well. There was ample heat through the colder nights. I love Martha's idea of having happy hour at 5pm. Jay would light a fire, and I always love chatting with the both of them. It's also fun to watch the birds fly around, learn about the different flowers, plants, and trees. I also got to see blue bird eggs, which were also blue. Martha's Roku is also fantastic, as I got to watch movies, television, and listen to music. She also has awesome snacks! I have never seen an Airbnb host put out snacks and cereal for the guests. The location itself is rural, but also 4 minutes from a shopping center with Walmart. 30 minutes away is Whole Foods and Trader Joes. It's rural living but close to everything you need. I highly recommend Martha's place. It truly is a gem in the Blue Mountains, and you will have a great time!”
Quaint room in beautiful, sunny Allentown apartment! Right by public transportation, very close to Dorney Park and major shopping centers, located in front of beautiful park. We are two young working professionals in our mid-20's and just moved into this VERY spacious apartment!
“I only crashed at Ari’s for a night. I was in town to go to the PPL center. Her location was perfect, as the PPL center was synergy a 15-20 minute walk. The room itself is simple, but there is a cozy bed and that’s all I really needed. Ari communicated check in instructions clearly and also suggested me places where to eat. If you’re in town for a night, I would highly suggest Ari’s place.”
The cabin is a peaceful and serene escape, yet it is a short walk away from all the attractions. The cabin is 475 square feet with a living room, kitchenette, dining area and bathroom on the ground floor. The bedroom/loft is upstairs.... The cabin shares a backyard (nothing else is shared) with the main house. The backyard is yours to use, including propane BBQ, outdoor fireplace, tables and chairs. You can listen to music, talk and have fun outside as late as you like.
“The cabin in the trees was a truly magical place, and Jeffrey was a fantastic host! The cabin itself is incredibly charming and has everything you’d need and more. The outdoor spaces and decorative touches are lovely, highlights include the lighting, outdoor fireplace and expansive tree-canopied deck. Jeffrey’s suggestions were terrific; we followed his advice in terms of places to eat, hike and adventure and they did not disappoint! Our dog loved it too and by the time we left, we were all sad to depart. I can’t recommend this cabin any more highly!”
