The town of Gföhl with shops and restaurants is 1 km away. At the Krumau reservoir (10 km), you have the opportunity for a boat trip.

We are located 100m away from the center of Grein. 150m from the train station. 200m away from the Donau. It is very peaceful here. The apartment is located in our house, but it has a separate entrance. So it is private. There are several places to eat, not too far away from us. The historic cottage from the 19th century was carefully revitalized in 2023 to preserve the original charm. We are located directly on the Riesling Tour and Zweigelt Tour wine cycling routes. The wedding locations in the town center are within walking distance of about 1.5 km via a night-lit walking path. We don't need air conditioning, even in midsummer the house is pleasantly cool through the thick stone walls!

Micro house in Krems-Süd

Due to the positive experiences as Airbnb hosts, we converted the smallest barn on our property into a tiny house in 2020-2022. We planned and built everything ourselves and hope our guests will feel comfortable and enjoy their time in Krems and the Wachau!
