The entire house is yours during your stay, just under 1000 sq ft of space. The house is in walking distance to a park, pubs, and a couple of restaurants. Located near Starved Rock State Park, Buffalo Rock, and Matthiessen Park. Minutes from downtown Ottawa and Utica!
“This is a nice small home not far off the highway in a nice town. Another review described the neighborhood as a bit rough but I didn't think so. The house itself is very unassuming, plain on the outside so you'd about drive by and not notice it. It looks smaller than it is as it is deeper than it is wide. But the inside has been redone very nicely. Very comfortable and functional as an AirBnB. There is actually an extra room behind the room with the double bed that was empty. We've been camping, so we had a queen air mattress with us and put it in that room so our boys did not have to share a bed. We cooked dinner and breakfast in the kitchen and had everything we needed. Love cooking on a gas stove. We would definitely stay here again.”
This area of my home is a walkout studio to a private patio-full kitchen (minus food), full futon bed w/topper, basic tv (no streaming due to limited Wi-Fi), fireplace, laundry & shower. NOT the Waldorf Astoria, but it's comfortable, quiet & what I call home w/no cleaning fee. Weekly & monthly rates. Pet fee $5 per day per pet; grill usage $10 per stay. Absolutely no smoking on property! A short drive to I80, downtown Ottawa & 21 miles to Starved Rock. LOOK AT A MAP, I can’t change my location.
“Great spot for the price! You have your own basement apartment (entrance thru main house) with private patio. 10 minutes to down town Ottawa, and 20 minutes from Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks! Gorgeous drive to the Parks. Lisa is a very friendly and informative host. Would definitely come back.”
Situated right in the heart of downtown Utica! This upstairs loft suite is beautiful and right above one of Utica’s best known restaurants Skoogs Pub and Grill. Walk out the door and you are steps from restaurants, shops, museums, bars, and so much more. No car needed to explore this great historic town! You will have access to bicycle rentals to bike to Starved Rock State Park as well and that can be set up for you!
“Wow! This place is awesome! Spacious and immaculate and beautifully decorated everywhere you look! Bed was so comfortable with a tv And a huge screen tv in the living room. Kitchen was well equipped Complimentary coffee was caribou! So wonderful! This place would make a great Romantic getaway destination! Great restaurants on the street below are so convenient. Starved Rock Park for hiking Is so close. Parking on the adjacent street was not a problem and seemed totally safe. The bathroom is huge and well stocked with everything you could need. Towels were soft and plentiful! The couch area was comfy! We didn’t use the fireplace because it was 85 out. The air conditioning was great too! The street our front was closed down for outside dining which was so great because we haven’t eaten out because of Covid and we had a lovely breakfast and dinner there with some craft beer. It’s about a ten minute drive at most off of interstate 90. We have stayed in a lot of air b&b’s And this one is up there with the best of them!!! Plus the owner is very helpful and prompt with getting back to you”
