Holiday houses in LaSalle County

This was one of the best stays my family and I have had! The barn itself is beautiful, but what my boys enjoyed the most was the property. We got lucky with a beautiful 50° December day. We walked the trails, threw rocks in the pond and went on scavenger hunts. Highly recommend staying here!

The townhouse was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. I would recommend providing some instruction on the smart TV - with 3 remotes it was a bit confusing. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and pots and pans etc. Be sure to bring oil, (cooking spray) butter, spices etc if you plan on actually preparing a meal. Very easy check in. Nice setting, extremely quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this location.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is beautiful and immaculately kept. The kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of towels in each room. The beds were cozy and the heat adjusted quickly. The two highlights were (1) the beautiful deck overlooking the river, where we saw a bald eagle and sandhill cranes migrating and (2) the game room, where we enjoyed family games of pool and poker. The house was 15 minutes from Starved Rock and 2 minutes from a grocery store, so the location was super convenient as well.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay, felt like home and never wanted to leave! Definitely staying again there soon.

The place was perfect for a peaceful getaway in nature. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was a great bonus and helped us relax after a full day. The surrounding area was quiet and surrounded by forest, which made it easy to disconnect from the city. The host was very welcoming and responsive. Thank you for the hospitality — we would gladly come back again!
