Olga and Jorge’s home was an absolute delight. Perfectly located in the heart of Donostia, it’s beautifully decorated with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The apartment is exceptionally well-equipped and generously stocked with amenities—Olga and Jorge have truly thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. Their warmth and hospitality were unmatched, and they provided us with many helpful tips and local insights. The use of their parking space was an added bonus and made exploring the area even easier. San Sebastián itself is incredible, and this home made our stay all the more memorable. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return someday. With San Martin Square just outside the door—featuring a supermarket, cafés, and great shopping—and the beach only steps away, the location couldn’t be better. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had.

Upon arrival, Marisa was waiting for us on time to explain how the house worked, to give us local recommendations and with local delicacies. 🫶🏽 The house is super comfortable, we would return without hesitation. Very quiet at night, which ensures a good rest after having toured the best places in Bilbao, which can be accessed on foot. Supermarket, cafes, and shops a few meters away. We spent a few beautiful days in Bilbao and that was also thanks to Marisa.

We had a very pleasant stay in this clean and functional accommodation in a quiet neighborhood. No problem parking the car nearby and the train station is a few minutes' walk away, which allows you to get to San Sebastian very quickly by train. We recommend without any hesitation. Carlos place was better than photos with a beautiful view of Bilbao. Centrally located and under 10 minutes from the Guggenheim. Carlos was excellent in his communication, making sure we arrived and parked ok. He was an excellent host, the place is perfect for a family or more people. Highly recommend ! 5 stars!

The stay in Bilbao was very pleasant and Ascen's apartment is a great starting point for exploring both the old city and Bilbao in general. The many restaurants and bars generally close at 11pm, so in the evening there are no particular noise problems (typical of such central/tourist areas).

What a brilliant trip, one of our best ever! From the moment we arrived, our hosts Miguel and his wife made us feel incredibly welcome. The apartment, located in the heart of the Gros area, was perfect... It was clean, safe, and ideally situated for exploring San Sebastián. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. Miguel and his wife went above and beyond, providing us with helpful information and even a lot of food, which was so appreciated. Although we don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English, we easily communicated through a phone app and it worked just fine! A special mention to the lovely lady in the nearby coffee shop who had my coffee ready each morning before I even asked such a nice touch. The food in the local restaurants was outstanding, especially the pizza place below the apartment honestly one of the best we’ve had and great value too. Would we return to this apartment and location? Absolutely, 100% yes. Thank you, Miguel and your wonderful wife, for everything.

We had a great weekend together. The house is located in a very peaceful environment, full of charm. Very functional, and tastefully restored. Communication with Christine was excellent, all the necessary information for our arrival was given to us accurately. Very flexible host on schedules which allowed us to leave more quietly after our cycling race. We strongly recommend!

We spent 5 nights in Anas' apartment. The check-in was in person via a representative. There is a garage that is sufficient for a normal-sized car (station wagon). We always travelled very cheaply to the beach and the old town by bus (very close). There are cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment is large and great. We felt very comfortable and the price-performance ratio is right. Ana gave information in advance. Thank you!

We had a great time with the family three generations. The house is beautiful and very pleasant to live with others, and it was a pleasure to swim in the heated pool at the end of October. The scenery that surrounds the house is really spectacular. We don't get tired of rediscovering it every day depending on the weather. We leave regret this beautiful place. An absolutely stunning property, with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home stay. Fantastic pool and pool house as well. Large kitchen/ dining/ living area meant that even with 8 adults staying it never felt crowded. Fresh baked goods left for our arrival as well as complementary toiletries. Tania and her husband were so helpful even arranging an early check in at the last minute. Genuinely is only 15 minutes drive from Bilbao and the beach, although bus stop is only a short walk away. Couple of restaurants in the local town are a short walk away. Comment from a past visitor about security cameras was over exaggerated, there is one camera pointing at the back of the garden and not into or around the house. Also felt very safe as there is the regional police headquarters behind the property 😂(but doesn’t overlook it at all). We will definitely be returning to this property and to beautiful Bilbao.

Super spot, close to the beach and not far from the center of Sopela! When we were there there was quite a bit of parking, so that was cool. I would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful typical Basque Country house. We can only recommend and would be very happy to come back next time.

Kontxi and Xabi were very welcoming, and we were made to feel at home immediately. The apartment is beautiful, with amazing views of the hills. The garden was safe and secure for our 4 year old to play, with a trampoline and swings to keep him amused. There were some food essentials provided which was appreciated after a day of travelling. Kontxi provided many local recommendations in San Sebastianand the surrounding area. Our favorite part was being so close to the green path which stretched up towards the hills and to San Sebastian, which was perfect for early morning runs before it got too warm. The bakery close by and the fresh milk machine (milk pasturised that day!) Were also highlights. As users of AirBnB for many, many years, we agreed that Kontxi and Xabi were the best hosts we havd had. We would love to come back.

Very pleasant 6-night stay. The place is in a house belonging to the owners, but we still fully enjoyed our privacy, without hearing the slightest noise. The place is clean and in all respects matches the description. The rental is ideally located, 15 minutes' walk from the beach. It is very easy to park, with spaces available just in front of the apartment. Our host was very responsive and caring. We would recommend it without hesitation and will be happy to come back!

Apparently very well equipped, very well located, quiet, everything is within walking distance (shops, beach, hiking trails...), parking in front of the door. A real welcome by Maryse, warm who gives all the necessary information to be able to enjoy this splendid region. I highly recommend it.

Very nice apartment! Very quiet place. Host responds very quickly, very friendly. We moved to the centre of Bilbao by metro, I think it's the best, punctual, you get to the historic centre in 30 minutes. We left the car parked on the street near the apartment. Very comfortable bed. Kitchen with dishes for cooking and so on. Highly recommended!!

We stayed in this apartment for 15 days. The communication and hospitality were really nice. The apartment is superb, impeccably clean. Its location is convenient and the place is quiet and pleasant. We will come back to it without hesitation.

What you see is what you get, almost. The location and the view from Josu's apartment is even better in real life. We planned for a week visiting Bilbao and San Sebastian, but left wishing we had more time in Sopela. Josu is the kind of guy you feel like you've known all your life. Very friendly and easy going. Definately worth a visit... and already on our wishlist for our next visit to Spain.
