“This was our second trip to the cabin, it was just as we had remembered it from a few years ago - quaint and cozy! They had made some upgrades including a screened-in porch which we sat in every night to watch the sunset and look at the stars. Mark and Caitie are so hospitable and responsive. They recommended a local hike to silver lake and brought over a drying rack when they noticed we were air drying our clothes outside. Every detail is carefully thought of and the simple touches such as fresh flowers on the tables made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back! -Mallory + Bill”

“We have been Airbnb guests at many different places, but Chenoa and Gabe's place stands out as being the best all-around experience of them all, hands down! The carriage house itself is incredibly cozy and comfortable -- we spent over a month here and never once felt cramped -- and very close by to Middlebury and many fantastic hiking trails. What made this stay so special was the genuinely warm hospitality they and their kids conveyed throughout our time at their place. They were super-friendly and always eager to know whether there was anything else they could do to make our stay as comfortable as possible, while also so respectful of our privacy. We didn't need anything more, since what they offer there exceeded our expectations so much. If you are looking for a home away from home in the Middlebury area, this is an outstanding place. If we could give them 10 stars, we would!”
