My accommodation is near the castle of Canossa. The place is suitable for solitary wolves in search of peace and quiet. We are immersed in a medieval historical context that highlights the peculiarities of the Canossana area.
“Stunning eco-house, with many beautiful details, made of wood, stone, herbs. Very nice hosts, Assunta for breakfast left us a chocolate dessert with pine nuts, we spent the night all night, we didn’t want to leave straight. They advised us to visit the festival in the neighboring town, for history buffs near the old castle of Matilda di Canossa.”
A few kilometers from the frenzy of the city, this charming chalet is born, an oasis of peace and serenity. A cozy place immersed in the lush, silent and harmonious nature. An ideal place for meditation and yoga activities, to escape from love and to find the long-awaited family peace with your children. From here you can walk along well-marked trails on our appenine and visit natural attractions, the owners will be happy to accompany you in the estate.
“this is a gem! if you're looking for a place to read a book, relax, take leisurely walks this is it. it's a complete cliche in the nicest way of an Italian country getaway. the house is super modern. this area is beautiful ( we saw deer on the hill opposite the house). next time we may take bikes along to explore more of the area.”
La Fossa offers B&B facilities in two separate authentic Italian farmhouses in the forest. Here you can book the small romantic house with the big window presenting you amazing views over a forested valley directly from your bed. Nature and Relax.
“This home is just beautiful! So much thought and effort has gone into making your bnb an oasis for travellers wanting an authentic Italian country experience. We felt so relaxed with only the sound of nature and a view from our room that I could watch all day. Green rolling forest and mountains that changes throughout the day constantly! Your breakfast and coffee was a highlight, so charming and delicious. Thank you Tatiana and Mark, we will be telling people about your place forever! So special!”
