“This was my 2nd time staying at Chelsea's and I'd recommend it to anyone. The apartment is clean, comfortable, easy to find and in a excellent location: 5 minutes to 89, and a 5 minute walk to Lebanon's downtown green. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and has essentially everything one would need for their stay. I'd definitely continue coming back when I'm in the area.”
A quiet country setting: two miles of dirt road lead to our house from the nearest paved road. We are surrounded by 1000 acres of land conserved by The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests (SPNHF). We oversee the open spaces: cattle graze in the pasture and forage crops are grown in the fields in the summer, and maple sap is gathered in the early spring. SPNHF conducts forest research and harvests timber in the wooded areas. Hiking & non-motorized activities are permitted.
“I stayed at Margaret's place while doing a trip to the area to see the fall foliage. Communication before the visit was great. Very clear instructions are given to her house beforehand due to possible signal problems. I saved the area as an offline map on google maps beforehand and was able to find it with no problems. Margaret and her brother are delightful conversationalists with some very interesting stories and anecdotes. I felt more than welcome as company, but was also comfortable retreating to my room. The lack of signal and wifi let me do a proper 'getaway from technology' night which I thoroughly enjoyed . The wifi was strong enough to text and with everything combined, I felt safe as a solo traveller. I also took the opportunity to walk around the vast land in the morning and ran into her delightful herd of cows. All in all, it was a great stay and I would definitely try to go back next year.”

“What can we say?! We had such a wonderful time in this cabin and really had a hard time leaving. Highlights - the well stocked kitchen: we shopped at Hannaford in Bradford, VT and enjoyed cooking all of our meals in the cabin. The porch: where we go to relax and drink some cold ice tea on some pretty warm days. The layout: open concept that made it feel extra roomy. The bathroom: gorgeous and included a washer and dryer. The lake nearby: where my husband and 7-year-old son spent everyday swimming, canoeing and fishing. We also enjoyed a visit to King Author Flour in Norwich for delicious pies and other pastries, as well as a shop with a variety of baking items. The host, Brooke, was very kind, responsive and generous. She left a bottle of wine along with some delicious local strawberries - we appreciated the special touches. We loved this cabin so much that after our first night, we booked it again for a return in a few months. Can't wait for our next stay! ”
