“We stayed one night with two adults and a 4 year old. When we checked in we were greeted by Bev who asked if we’d like to go straight to our ‘camp’ or have a tour first. It was nice to be given a choice. She drove our gear to our camp to save us the trips which was great. She has a cool set up and each camp has its own space/amenities and then there are a few shared areas. My daughter couldn’t get over discovering a new animal everywhere (horses, donkey, goats, rabbits, ducks, cats, doves). Bev also had some animal feed available so we coaxed the donkey and a goat to our fence area to say hello. She also has a pony she let us see and magically transformed it into a unicorn to my daughter’s delight! Our camp itself was spacious and had all amenities needed (minus running water which was expected). A nice short nature trail with discoveries hidden along the way. Note: pack bug spray accessories. The tiny house was cool. It was a hot weekend so we used the AC which was amazing just on low. The loft sleeping area was still too warm for our liking (maybe bring a little personal fan if it’s hot) so we all stayed on the pullout futon. Note: if futon is pulled out ladder can’t be attached to loft space easily. Overall a unique, fun place to take a MN staycation trip! Thank you for your hospitality Bev. 👍🏼”
