Holiday rentals with a kayak in Le Haut-Saint-François Regional County Municipality

This home is so beautiful and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed was easy to find and staying here was the highlight of my family and I’s Christmas. The photos do not do it justice because it is even more beautiful in person. Small confusion with check out times so last day was a bit of a surprise rush, but Brendon is easy to communicate with, he’s so responsive and very very helpful. We cannot wait to stay here again.

This place was amazing! The chalet was spacious, clean and the beautiful view of the lake from the house added to the beauty of this place.

The cabin is great, cozy, well equipped! And Emmanuel was very responsive. Great stay!

We were a group of 5 friends and had a wonderful weekend! We enjoyed the spa and outdoor fire. I slept in the main room with terrace and lake views! It was unanimous everyone slept well. The instructions were very clear, Marjolaine was responsive before and during the stay. The Captain has all the amenities to live a beautiful stay!

My brother and I were in St-François for my aunt's funeral. Josée's place was the perfect spot to the rest and relaxation that we needed. The bed are incredibly comfortable, the place was clean...we couldn't ask for more.

Steven went above and beyond to make my family’s stay enjoyable. Upon an accidental overbook Steven refunded us the days and extra for his mistake. He also went out of his way to gift us some drinks since I had mentioned it was my birthday weekend. He was very happy to help with any questions we had. Overall, it was a nice stay and his home was beautiful.

Rose and Caro were fantastic hostesses. They were very quick to respond and very cordial. We would recommend their beautiful place to all!

The cottage directly overlooks the lake, the views are stunning. We were visited by loons. You hear traffic when you're outside, but the inside is well soundproofed. The hot tub is nice, with lake views. Mattresses could be a little firmer (for those in need of strong support). Two bedrooms have the switch outside the bedroom and one of them has no other source of lighting. This room also doesn't have a nightstand, which is uncomfortable. The appliances are complete and functional. The living room lacks comfort: the sofa is backed directly by a bed closet, without a headrest to protect against shocks. It's also not a room with a door, so can't be considered a desk, especially since there is no furniture to work (no big deal when you can work on the terrace). Overall it's very good and Patrick is hyper-responsive, available and very accommodating. I recommend it!

We loved our stay at the cottage. It met our expectations perfectly. There were 6 of us with a dog, who loved him rolling in the snow while we were in the hot tub. Everything we needed was provided and the location is very quiet. For those who like hiking, Mount Ham is located 20 minutes from the cottage, it is a hike that we love to do in this area. We will surely try to return in the summer to enjoy the lake access to the lake from the house.

We could not have chosen a better place than Réjean's chalet to celebrate Christmas with our family. We've been renting airbnb's for many years, but this was the most peaceful and fully-stocked rental we've ever come across. The owners thought of everything to make our stay cozy and inviting. Réjean made sure we had everything we needed ahead of our stay. The beds were comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and the surroundings were picturesque. We would go snowshoeing in the woods and enjoy a nice wood-burning fireplace and hot chocolate when we got back. And our boys loved sliding on the slope! We couldn't imagine a better spot for our family of 7 and hope to come back soon!

This cute lake cottage is the perfect place to get away and enjoy everything the lake and area has to offer. We watched sunsets, star gazed (saw the Milky Way), enjoyed the boats that were available to use and mainly hung out on the sun porch that had great views of the lake.

We were 2 families and the chalet is very functional. Kids loved the playroom. Only downside, in the bedroom on the first level, it is particularly cold and with the wood provided, it is impossible to heat the chalet. We had to go into town to buy some. To avoid situations outside your responsibility, I would advise you to check that the diffusers are properly inserted into the power outlet. Despite these two inconveniences, we had a lovely stay.

Ryan was a great host and communicated well before and during the stay. We had no issues during our stay but knew Ryan was only a message away and would address what we needed. Location was perfect for our ski trip to Jay. Restaurants in the area were good but the whole town closes pretty early. Not much of a night life but that was ok. Would recommend and stay again. Thanks Ryan!

Really fantastic place to stay, Darren was very responsive when we had any little issues and was able to solve them all. I loved using the kayaks that came with the bnb, we went early October and the lake was peaceful and gorgeous to kayak on. The road can be heard from inside but it's not noticeable most of the time and traffic is almost non existent at night. My family and I would be thrilled to stay again should we return to the area.

Cristal's place was everything we hoped for. It was very well equiped and decorated with style and let's not forget the amazing view of Lake Luster. We felt right at home.

The cabin was clean and well appointed. The area is very peaceful, and we enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back next year.

Our Valentine’s weekend took an unexpected turn when our original Airbnb canceled on us after check-in, leaving us stranded. But thanks to Airbnb’s support team, we found Chalet La-Berge Du Lac—and oh my god, were we lucky! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The chalet is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The jacuzzi was simply amazing, the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Though it was winter and the lake was frozen, we could see they offer kayaks, outdoor activities, and even ice fishing—which I wish I had known about earlier! The place has everything you need—a spacious layout, plenty of amenities like a BBQ, a cozy living room with a sofa bed, and so much more. The hosts were exceptional—super friendly and always available whenever we had a question. Communication was seamless, and the check-in/check-out process was effortless. We will definitely be back!!

This was our second time at this chalet. We are 2 families. 4 adults and 4 children ages 9-13. 6 bedroom, with comfortable bed. The kids can all play on the walk out basement...foose ball table, air hockey, karaoke, tv, couch. The kitchen is well supplied with pots/pans and spices. Beautiful surrounding, a hottub. We will be back for sure! Host was a pleasure to communicate with!

Just spent 4 nights at this cabin for a snowmobiling trip. Great access to trail 146, which is approx 1/2 mile off the rd cabin is. We had two trucks and trailers and it was more than enough room in driveway. Don't worry if the power goes out like it did for us, full house standby generator which kicked on as soon as power went out. Decent wifi service as well for being in the middle of the woods. Would love to come back in the summer!

Perfect, rustic, cozy cabin experience. Direct access to the trails. Right on the lake. Doesn't get much better!

absolutely awesome, maybe a storage of firewood would be the only possible thing to complete the stay, but not necessary as the furnace works perfectly

We had a great stay! The location, right by the lake, is amazing! The cottage is equipped with everything you need and more. We really enjoyed the cozyness, the setup felt very comfortable for the goal of our stay : relaxing! We would definitely consider going back. Thank you Ma Kabane!
