Captain's House | Monte Grosso, Elba

The Casa del Capitano is located on the top of Monte Grosso in the National park of the tuscan archipelago. The location is unique on the island and from here you have a fantastic view of the city of Portoferraio, Piombino, Corsica, Capraia and Gorgona. The house was restored during a project lasting several years, in close collaboration with the National Park and was designed to be self-sufficient and ecological. Here you use purely the energy of the sun, without having to renounce luxury.

The studio is located about 2.5 km from the historic center and the beaches of the municipality of Portoferraio (Ghiaie, Padulella, Sansone, Capo Bianco, Sotto Bomba, Forno, Scaglieri, Biodola). It consists of a living room with a double bed, small kitchenette, bathroom with shower, hot/cold air conditioner, coffee machine with pods (bialetti), equipped and fenced garden, barbecue, covered parking space. Very quiet and peaceful location. There is a dog and a cat in the garden.

A 10 minuti, verso Portoferraio, trovate le spiagge di sassi bianchi di Padulella, Capobianco e le Ghiaie. Nel giardino c'è una Jacuzzi 6 posti disponibile FREE da aprile a ottobre. La villa è stata rinnovata nel 2025. Max adulti ammessi 4, casa ideale per famiglia

The house has a private garden, with lawn, of about 200 square meters.

The Tower above the sea

La Torre is one of two ancient watchtowers in the beautiful town of Marciana Marina. The tower was already on maps of the 16th century as Torre di Poggio and in the 18th century as a customs office for the merchandise from the sea. In 2023, the tower was rebuilt by an interior designer. The result is a synergy of ancient remains and modern comforts. The unique location directly above the water makes every stay an experience.
