Close to the sites of Lascourt and the Serre pass for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing enthusiasts. Cycling and mountain biking friends, our vacation rental is ideally located at the foot of the Grand site du Puy Mary, about 15 km from the Pas de Peyrol pass via the Serre pass. Upon request, access to the garage to store bikes.

Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

At an altitude of 1200 metres, on a ridge in the middle of the volcanic Cantal mountains, you wake up to the sound of cows and birdsong. No traffic noise — just open air and a sweeping view over the valley. From the house, you can step directly onto hiking trails towards the Puy Mary. Inside, there is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with box spring beds and a pellet stove for those cool mountain evenings. Ideal for those who really want to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Les Coustounes offers you an interior space of 180 m2, with a clean and refined decoration. The 100 m2 living room, including the ultra-equipped kitchen, is very bright and comfortable, with direct access to the terrace and its magnificent view of nature and our mountains. The 3 bedrooms, one with terrace and 2 bathrooms are upstairs. The outdoor space, on the sunny side (the sunniest side of the mountain) is vast, with meadow and forest and the swimming pool (10 X 5 M).

If you are looking for calm, this is the ideal house at the foot of Puy Mary in the place called Louradou. at the start of various hikes, GR400, mountain biking, TRAIL, cross country skiing, snowshoeing. 15 km from Lioran ski resort (if road is clear). 15 minutes from the Jordanne Gorges, Lake Graves Grocery store, bakery, restaurant 1.5 km from the house. Aurillac 25 km away weekend or other rental, except July and August by the week.

Charming Auvergne house in the heart of the medieval city of Salers. Le Vernet is located 4 km from Cheylade and 700 m from the Auberge du Lac des Cascades. Located at an altitude of 1100 m, you will enjoy the mountain air and the calm of a secluded hamlet. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, and families (with kids).
