Madison Lake is located about 15 minutes north of Mankato, MN and offers a great getaway as this condo is located on a lakefront property on Madison Lake. Come stay during the summer to enjoy water sports and fishing as well as live music on the weekends. We are also located about a 1/2 mile from the Sakatah Bike Trail! Also a great location for ice fishing and other outdoor winter activities!
“This was a great place to stay. Very clean and modern décor. Our door was just a few yards from the beautiful lake shore. We brought kayaks, fished everyday and enjoyed bonfires while watching the sun set each day . It was nice to have the bar and grill next door for quick meals or a beer on the shore. This location is just a few blocks away from an excellent bike trail surrounded by trees. Shelly was quick to reply with any questions and was a great host.”
Farmhouse Market & Inn is located on Main Street in the quaint town of New Prague. Just 45 minutes from the Twin Cities, New Prague is a great little Czech community with lots to offer travelers. The inn is in the second floor of a historic 1890's building, above Farmhouse Market. Farmhouse Market features local and organic foods & goods; and was featured in the New York Times in 2018 for its innovative business model. The inn was carefully designed with style and comfort in mind. Czech us out!
“We were attending a wedding at The Broz in New Prague and due to terrible weather decided at the last minute to stay overnight. Kendra responded to my inquiry instantly and was able to accommodate us with almost no warning! She was so kind and helpful, giving clear instructions and even some breakfast recommendations (we went to one of them, Ettlin’s, which was good). We were able to park in the provided space and walk to and from the wedding, less than a 2 minute walk away, which made for a very relaxing evening without worrying about the weather. The room is small but cute, clean and cosy. The bed was comfortable, the towels large, soft and fluffy, and there were even robes provided, although we had brought our own. There is another room (separate security code) in the same apartment but there are no shared walls as there is a communal area between the two containing tea and coffee plus a small fridge, microwave and toaster oven. We had quiet and respectful ‘roommates’ but we decided against making early morning drinks because we were concerned about disturbing them, so that is a potential small inconvenience. If we ever attend another event at the same venue we would definitely try to stay at Kendra’s place again.”
Enjoy a lake home experience! Plan your vacation or family get together at this vaulted A-Frame home situated on Spring Lake. Spring Lake is a local recreation and fishing Lake, almost 600 acres in size. Our shoreline is only a few feet from the home, making water access very easy. Fishing from the dock is generally productive and fun for kids. The main floor level is an open area with kitchen, dining area and Living room creating an inviting atmosphere for socializing. Outside, you will find a large deck that wraps around the home for plenty of outdoor space. The lower level family room has large flat screen tv and wet bar offering additional space. There is a variety of playstation games including guitar hero. This home features 4 bedrooms and a loft area to accommodate most groups sizes. Additional sleeping areas utilize a pull out sofa (10 people) and a queen size inflateable for kids (12 total) Most comfortable for families sizes up to 10 although a few more is possible. Other property features include 2 fireplaces, a large screen TV and TV's in every bedroom. There is also a dock, canoe, 4 kayaks and some life vests depending on size, for your lake enjoyment. Upon request, a few fishing poles can be provided. This beautiful Lake property is located 28 Miles southwest of Minneapolis in the community of Prior Lake and is only a 30 minute drive from the airport. Its location is ideal as if offers tranquility and relaxation but still within a manageable drive to any desired attraction in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. The Downtown district of Prior Lake emanates small town atmosphere and is located 2 miles north offering quaint shopping and many local conveniences. Enjoy fresh pastries and sandwiches at “Edelweiss Bakery” or enjoy fine Italian dining at “Perron’s Sul Lago” two local favorites. There are several bars and restaurants in Prior Lake for those looking for live music, karaoke or general night life. Enjoy drinks and great food at tavern “Charlie's” anytime during the day or evening. Charlie's is a social hot spot located directly on Prior Lake. For those who feel lucky, “Mystic Lake Casino”, is located 3 miles Northwest. Many other attractions within 5 miles include “Canterbury Downs” offering live horse racing, “Raceway Park” with weekend stock car and figure 8 racing, and an amusement park called “Valley Fair” featuring many thrill rides and a water park. “Beautiful home on Spring Lake in Prior Lake, MN. Connie was a great host, and was extremely responsive to all questions. We had a family of 5, and we had lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was stocked with everything to cook with. Every day, we grilled out on the deck. There was 4 kayaks and 1 canoe, which we all used to paddle around the lake in. The highlights on the lake, was catching some large bass on the other side of the lake, as well as swimming. In the evening we had bonfires near the lake, and ended the nights with movies in the basement. There is a kitchen in the basement, and if you had 2 large families, that would work out well. If you need anything, Shakopee, MN is nearby and also is very close to the Twin Cities. Thank you for opening your home to us!”
