Here you can conveniently combine a cottage and city vacation. You can drive to the center of Jyväskylä in about 20 minutes, the nearest golf course (Peurunka Golf) is about 15 minutes away.

Päiväranta - Cozy cabin on beautiful lakeside

Cottage Päiväranta offers traditional Finnish holiday experiences in the heart of nature, just 10 km from the center of Jyväskylä. Sauna, swimming, rowing and fishing on the lake with your own rowboat, admiring the evening sun on the beach, cutting firewood, barbecuing, washing dishes by hand, throwing javelins... Enjoy simple chores and beautiful nature! Come and achieve an organic and relaxed rhythm of life! The cottage is a traditional summer cottage - the toilet is an outhouse and the water for washing comes from the lake with a pump.

A 4-person sauna cottage completed in 2024 along a magnificent rapid. The calming rapids scenery guarantees a relaxing visit to Koskenrannan Helmi. The cottage is well suited for relaxation, fishing or even boating. In the large sauna of the cottage you can admire the flowing water, refreshment is easy in the always open rapids or in the outdoor hot tub. Villa Löyly offers a peaceful holiday on the shore of the mild water near the services of Jyväskylä. On the big lawn of the cottage, you can play ball games or disc golf, for example. Air source heat pump for cooling and heating. Wifi You can enjoy a summer day in the hammock, swimming, sauna, and grilling in the summer kitchen. In winter, you can take a dip in the open, ski on the lake, ice skate, and admire the wintering lake scenery. The snowmobile trail runs next to the cottage on the lake's ice.

Lakefront guest suite incl. use of sauna

Enjoy lakefront accomodation 6 km from the city. Our basement floor guest suite has its own entrance and 4 windows. Usage of indoor sauna (1,5h) in October-April included. Two showers indoors in the wash room. There're fridge, water kettle and microwave oven in the apartment. No full kitchen. May-September use of wooden sauna is included (2hours per day) and it is possible to swim in the lake. There are coffee maker, cutlery, fridge, dishwasher in the sauna hut. You can use gas and coal grills.

Warm and cosy cottage in Himokki

Tule rentoutumaan rauhalliseen ja kodikkaaseen mökkiin perheen, ystävien tai vaikka pienen työporukan kanssa. Mökki sijaitsee rauhallisella paikalla, mutta silti lähellä Himoksen tekemistä ja menoa. Lähimmät laskettelurinteet ovat noin 3 km päässä ja keskukseen on matkaa noin 6 km. Viikonloppuisin voi käydä Himos Areenalla kuuntelemassa artisteja ja nauttimassa hyvästä tunnelmasta. Kesällä uimapaikka löytyy noin 300 m päästä, joten aamu-uinnille pääsee helposti. Tekemistä riittää ympäri vuoden!

Unique vacation villa near Himos slopes with a view of the northern slope. 5 minutes by car to the slope. Well-maintained winter trails pass by the villa, with multiple pairs of snowshoes free to use. Outdoor hot tub (jacuzzi) can be rented for 160€/stay. Note: If you want bed linens and towels, they can be rented separately for 20 euros per person. This is a common practice for holiday cottages in Finland.
