Small and nice!

The property is located in the "Gästehaus Mörtl", a house from the 60s. It is located in the village of Faak am See. Walking distance to the lake, turquoise blue, with stunning mountain panorama. It is one of the southernmost and warmest bathing lakes in Austria. The property has direct access to the garden with mountain views. Train station, pharmacy, doctor, supermarket and inn are in the immediate vicinity. The surrounding area invites you to do countless activities, such as hiking, cycling or swimming.

Superior apartment with lake access

We had a wonderful stay at Gebhard's & Eva's apartment. The apartment is even better than in the photos and the bathhouse with the private lake access is a great bonus! We traveled with a toddler, and were kindly provided with a baby cot and high chair. We would come back any time!

Tanja and her in-laws, who manage the cottage, are very friendly and helpful. The location is of course fantastic and the cottage very nice. It should be noted that the electricity is provided by generator and is only available at a very reduced rate (light) between 9 PM and 6 AM. The heating is a furnace heater, which is good to know at this altitude and the temperatures there. Communication was good. The journey can be a little intimidating if you are new to the mountains - the navigation system says 100 km/h on mountain roads and thus calculates the travel time earlier. But you're more likely to be traveling at 30-50 km/h. It's good to find your way

We stayed for three nights on New Year's Eve. The apartment we were assigned had a beautiful viata to the valley and the lake. The terrace(accessible from the two rooms and from the day side) and its view are definitely the highlight of the apartment. The surroundings seem suitable for walks in nature, during the period of our stay everything was snowy. The apartment has everything you need, it is very spacious and cozy. The host's family made us feel at home. The dog was accepted with great tolerance. Highly recommended!

Patricia was very helpful and kind! There were 5 of us and we had a great time, the house is 70s style but has everything you need, the outside is a large garden with a ping pong table, swing and lounger, there is also a porch where you can eat outside! Everything was clean and tidy, the only thing was the bathroom was a little uncomfortable as the bathtub was very small and therefore uncomfortable but otherwise everything was perfect! There was also a dishwasher and a washing machine! Really everything you needed to feel at home
