Authentic TeePee Tent in the woods with majestic tall pine trees close to Lassen Volcanic National Park. There is a queen size log bed and a futon inside the Tipi. There's also a lake and a creek on the property where you can relax in the natural and peaceful wooded setting. This teepee is on a 17 acre campground. You have access to public bathrooms, coin operated showers ($0.50/3min), washers/dryers and all other amenities offered by the park. Guests from all backgrounds are welcome here.
“We spontaneously booked this spot because we had initially wanted to visit Burney Falls, Lake Manzanita, and Hatchet Creek Falls. Thankful to have stumbled across this listing randomly because we enjoyed our “glamping” experience. I’ve never had the chance to sleep in a teepee before, but I’ve done glamping in Mendocino, which helped me compare the experiences. The teepee is a lot more roomier than we had originally imagine. We loved it! The mattress and futon were comfortable for the four of us. We were provided extra blankets, in case it got too cold. We were also provided clean towels given by the Camp Host, which was great since we came unprepared. The site is next to the showers and restrooms, which made it convenient. Carry quarters with you to use the showers, it’s about 50 cents for 3 minutes. We didn’t have any quarters on us, but the Camp Host was able to help us with getting change. There’s also a store deli and dollar store that’s a couple miles away. I have already recommended this place to over 20+ of my friends and family since posting in on social media platforms. Can’t beat the value! Would definitely recommend!”
Cozy 400 sq. foot cabin in the trees of historic mountain logging town of Westwood. 1 mile walking distance to local restaurants and a photo-op with the towns ol' Paul Bunyan statue. Surrounded by adventure in every direction and just minutes from Biz Johnson Trailhead, Hidden Lakes Trailhead, Lake Almanor, Eagle Lake, Lassen Volcanic National Park, and bunches more!
“Best accommodations for the area if you're on anything less than a sprawling lake house budget! The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin is located in an RV/MH park, which might deter some, but every person we encountered was wonderful. Just to note, there is no A/C but the temperatures were so cool in the evening there was no issue, we just kept some windows open for the breeze!”
Beautiful country home with multiple decks and outdoor areas for relaxing. Located in the woods, and not a subdivision, close to BLM land and only 8 minutes from the entrance of Lassen National Park. Close to Hat Creek for fishing, McArthur State Park for Burney Falls, and less than an hour to Redding and the Sundial Bridge.
“The home offered by Kris was lovely. The open living room was a short trip to the kitchen for multiple cups of tea and any other delicious meals we made in the well-supplied kitchen. I note this, because I’ve been to a couple of AirBnbs that didn’t have any kitchen knives, spatulas or pans! The backyard is similarly gorgeous. Just steps away from a rushing creek, my mom and I enjoyed a couple of hours in front of the crackling fire pit. The kerosene heater took a little getting used to, but it kept the center of the house warm. As for Mount Lassen, it’s about a 45 minute drive to the park, and true to her notes, groceries are hard to come by, so stock up before you visit. I should also make a note about Kris. We had some difficulty coordinating the schedule due to business and family needs, and she was patient with us the whole time. Wonderful get away to recharge surrounded by nature.”
