Apartment holiday rentals in LaPorte County

This was one of the very best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Very clean. Very well stocked. Communicative host. And things that were convenient were provided. For instance, beach toys and a beach blanket. Also-we had four people in our party and the space was just a perfect size to have some personal space or to meet all together. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Everything was exactly as described. Extremely clean, easy check in. Perfect for a couple for a weekend or longer. Great layout and use of space for the size of the apartment (think Junior 1-bedroom apartment or a little larger than an executive suite/extended stay at a hotel). Lots of space to put your things so they aren't in the way during your stay and clean, comfy couches to relax on at the end of the day. Cozy mattress and bedding/pillows. No issues with it being too hot like another reviewer said. Really loved the privacy, easy parking, and the back porch provided a lovely place to sit in the evening and watch the stars after dusk. Felt much more serene and private than you would think for being right off of the main road. Very convenient location if you want to be close to Pine Lake Marina.

We definitely enjoyed staying at this place ! The property was as described, very clean and well maintained! Definitely enjoyed the complimentary wine :) the place is close to all the main attractions at Indiana dunes park which was our purpose of this visit ! It is also close to the 11th street station to catch the train to Chicago. The communication with Taryn was also easy and quick ! Would definitely recommend staying here !

Eric and Janet’s place was lovely! It had a very cozy vibe and was perfect for a weekend lake getaway for a couple. The town and surrounding areas had a lot to do and the location felt safe. The apartment was roomy for a studio and the hosts were very hospitable including toiletries and recommendations on what to do. I would definitely stay again. Thank you!

This ancestral home was such a beautiful place away from home. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Everything was super clean. Lots of games. The description from the hosts is exactly what you get. I appreciated the honesty on their part. I will look into their list of properties for future stays. Great team! For your information: As said in the description, there is a train and it's very close to the house so you hear the alarms for it. It passes multiple times per day and per night and a lot of them also use their horns (even if they are mot supposed to). But the hosts provided each room with sound machines that helped our stay be more enjoyable and even forget about the train most of the time. (The kids loved the train). Since it's an ancestral house, it's on the colder side (we went in January), but there were a lot of extra blankets so we could stay cozy. Bring your sweaters and slippers.

Greatly enjoyed this stay. Perfect size for a weekend getaway as a couple. It’s right by the train station but the noise wasn’t too bothersome. Lots to do within 2 mile radius, including the beach. Not a lot of traffic in the neighborhood so getting around was easy. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a cute, cozy stay in this area.

Accommodations were exactly as described. The apartment was clean and comfortable, walkable from downtown. Eric left a list of restaurants and other local amenities that my girlfriend and I greatly enjoyed. Would absolutely recommend and book again.

Stayed for a concert in Hammond in quite place with a little street noise did t really stay in then place all that much due to the concert but what we seen was really clean and comfortable beds. Nice location.

It was about 25 minutes to the Indiana Dunes State Park and national park visitor center. It was on a quiet street that felt safe. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Clean. Host was quick to respond. Would stay again.

Very accurate description. Good/clean amenities. Fully equipped kitchen to make some small meals. Available beach gear in the garage was very helpful as we had 2 young children on the trip. About 10 minute stroll to the beach. Walking distance to local diner and playground down the street.

What a beautiful place. This is like a slice of heaven couldn’t ask for better host and a nicer place to say. We cannot stress enough how wonderful this place is an all of you should consider staying here and enjoy enjoying the beautiful town. We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

I booked this for a work trip for a couple guys. Great feedback and the hosts answer within minutes!! Only thing is the towels are a little dirty or stained rather and my guys did mention that. other than that the place was very clean, good area and quiet. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—easy to get in and out, and close to everything we needed. The space was cozy, clean, and made us feel right at home. It had all the essentials and a warm, inviting vibe. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay again!

I was looking for a cozy spot with a jacuzzi for a weekend celebration for my husband’s birthday and it was so much more than that. Carlo was super helpful with recommendations and quick to respond back. Such a great area to walk around and explore. We loved staying here and are looking to book later again this year!

Great place to stay close to casino and local distillery.

The host was very responsive and friendly. He gave recommendations on where to eat. The recommendation of a tiny restaurant named Cool Runnings ended up being a HIT SENSATION! I was HAPPY that he recommended the restaurant. The home is nestled in back at a dead end street. Nice neighborhood and quiet! Waking up to the view of the beach was great. Literally a 3 minute walk down a path will get you to the beach. That walk alone was definitely worth the money spent. I loved the arcade games. When visiting Michigan City again we will stay here.
