Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lapeer County

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

Our group that came from our church for the stay were blown away by the beautiful home! Some of our group come from very poor lifestyle and have never even stayed in a hotel. Brittany’s house stunned them and one of the little girls called it a mansion! They talked more about the house than the event we sent them to attend in Lapeer!

We enjoyed our visit to the area and are so thankful that we rented Alan’s place. The backyard was very large and allowed for lots of exercise time for our pup. Guest bedrooms and very comfy and loads of room for storage. Such a cute house that is very welcoming and well appointed. The location is close to the college and to downtown area for shops and dining. We will be returning to the area again and I hope to re-book when the opportunity comes along. This is a beautiful picturesque duplex with a swimming pool and hot tub. its got a comfortable king size bed and plenty of room to spread out. Joshua is very kind and attentive. What a great place to bring your dog and know that your dog will probably have a friend to play with sometimes in the back yard.

Cute modern lake (Tiny) house with many amenities. Probably the cleanest rental I’ve stayed in so far. The hosts were accommodating to our needs! Traveling with a baby, this house was perfect for us. Would definitely stay again.

Apparently I didn’t read the description all the way through so was blown away by the amenities in the house from every toiletry you would need to the fresh made brownies when we walked in. It was great and perfect for the 5 of us. And boy does their heat work amazing! Definitely recommend!

Great space that is very well suited to accommodate a group. Closely located to the Main Street in town and easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the hot tub and all of our time visiting Frankenmuth. Very happy with our choice to stay at Elliott’s.

A wonderful country side home. Live like a local. Great sunset views and peaceful nights. Home is comfortable after a busy day on the go.

This might be my favorite home that I’ve stayed in using Airbnb! Hanna Hospitality was super communicative, proactive, and kind. The home itself felt extremely clean and like a family home. I spent most of my time out in downtown Clarkston, but pretty much stayed on the deck or in the water when I was there. All of the furniture in this home was clean and comfortable, making it easy to lounge indoors and outdoors. The bed was almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The home is as described, and even cleaner than expected. The only challenge and my reason for the four stars: it was a bit frustrating to get into the front door. Hanna Hospitality provided clear directions for the keypad, but it’s weird that you had to “wake it up.” I hope I get to stay here again each time I visit Clarkson! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

They had great activities that we could join in with the other residents, every person on staff was super-nice, personable, and responsive. The security of the place was amazing! We had our own view of the doors from our room, and the ability to get in and out was also great. The balcony was an added bonus, and we spent the majority of our time when we were there, out on the balcony enjoying the view! Everything about Vicinia was amazing! They have a bar on premises (that closed at 7pm), but we were able to enjoy the festivities with the other residents. Everything there was clean and sanitized. They offered a breakfast until 9:30am, and coffee all day. There are so many great offerings from this AirBnB that we will absolutely return! Thank you for a wonderful experience and we will recommend Vicinia to anyone who will listen!

Laura’s place has everything you need in a peaceful woodland setting. We want to try the fire pit next time we stay.

We had a pleasant stay, just a couple small quirks to the place we didn't anticipate, maybe I didn't read the listing close enough, but host was responsive and friendly. Perks were it's a spacious stay and has a comfortable bed. TV and fireplace are nice. Quirks are is a first floor apartment complex with a tenant above and there were banging noises above that kept waking us up. Host responded they'd ask the neighbor to keep down the noise, a great option, however the noise kept happening seemingly every time we tried to sleep. Bath towels are located under the bed in a plastic drawer, which isn't correct from the description given "in dresser" and there were no towels in the bathroom initially, which really confused us. The shower is well water based and has a horrible odor, not much the host can do about this but it made showering quite uncomfortable. I still rated 5 stars due to these being minor quirks, overall the stay was peaceful.

My husband and I were looking for accommodation close to my best friend's wedding venue and home when we discovered Michael and Patti's rental. The place was easy to find, comfortable, and they were wonderful hosts. The mornings were beautiful and peaceful, filled with the sounds of birds. I would definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

My brothers and I with our significant others always get together for a weekend at the Renaissance Festival in Holly and this was literally the perfect cabin for us - close enough that we could go to and from if we needed a break during our long days at the Faire and peaceful enough at night to come back to and relax or play games like we love to do together. Plenty of space that we could all have beds and felt cozy. The lake is beautiful this time of year and even was warm enough that we could have swam after if we wanted or weren’t warn out from our long days. Parking was easy to figure out even with four vehicles. Host was responsive and super helpful and even allowed us to check in early when we realized that we would rather all drive in together last second. (Whoops! Poor planning on my part.) There was even provided water which was lovely as well, and a really nice touch when it comes to well water! Thank you so much and we will be back!

Our family truly enjoyed staying in the cabin and catching up with family! It was very clean and well kept! We will be back for other family events in the future!

The cabin is beautiful and clean. Tons of things to do and beautiful surroundings. Ashley is very responsive and accommodating. My friends and I had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

Ashley’s place was clean and offered many games, cozy seating and full library. This was all surrounded by the beauty of nature, right on the river. I loved that they gave a photo history of the cottage that was used as a gathering place. They also included brochures and coupons for those visiting Frankenmuth.

Perfect spot for my mom & I to stay while we visited family in the area. We loved the cozy-chic cabin vibe. The decor was beautiful and SO COMFORTABLE, from the couch to the beds. Well-appointed kitchen for all our needs & we appreciated the Keurig. It’s very quiet, and the skylights are amazing. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trail on a frosty morning - perfect start to the day. When I had a couple questions, Annalisa was very quick to respond. We miss the Hideaway already and hope to visit again!!

Danielle was great. The place was beautiful. We stayed there to go to Bavarian Blast and it was close and an easy drive there.

The photos don’t really do this beautiful place any justice. You have to rent this place, it’s absolutely beautiful place with the large pond out back. It’s very serene and peaceful, but not far from local restaurants and shopping in Frankenmuth. We will be renting again in the future!!!
