Hidden Mekong

Noy was a gift on our first trip to Laos. Her home is absolutely breathtaking, we spent every morning outside mesmerized by the river view. Her home was clean, comfortable and serene. She was supportive of any issues we had and communicated in a timely manner. Could not recommend this place more!

Deluxe lake view bungalow

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Super nice bungalow with great lake views. Small complex, therefore a lot of privacy, tranquility and maximum relaxation. Kayaks are free to use. Easy and fast check in. Food was very tasty (we had breakfast and dinner). Jun was very friendly and helpful. For the way back, he organized us a taxi to Vang Vieng. For arrival, I recommend a taxi (e.g. via the Loca app). We wanted to come with the scooter first, but were glad we didn't do it in the dark because the road is sometimes very bad (lots of potholes). The journey is worthwhile if you are looking for peace and relaxation surrounded by beautiful nature.

Off Grid Jungle Farmstay and Mekong Eden Farm

SeanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really appreciated taking the time to come here and understand Om’s vision for his organic farm and social enterprise, mixing modern agricultural knowledge with traditional methods and wisdom. It’s worth taking a trip to the second, larger, farm on the other side of the river, as well as a trip to a nearby village to get the full picture of how life works here. Om is a very inspiring social entrepreneur with excellent English, but the people who run the farm itself speak hardly any English. They are warm-hearted people and excellent cooks so I’m sure you’ll feel very comfortable. We slept very well and rose and slept with the rhythm of the sun as there really isn’t a lot else to do, which was just what we needed. If you’re looking for a rustic off-grid experience for a few days, away from the crowds of Luang Prabang, this is it.
