This lovely self-contained studio apartment is ideal for a solo traveller or couple who's looking to explore the beautiful Malmsbury-Kyneton area. I visited for genealogicial research and to get to know the area, and I wasn't disappointed. The accommodation is ideal for walking into the village, and for walks to iconic local places such as the Malmsbury Common, Viaduct, Reservoir and Botanic Gardens. Autumn colours are resplendent in May and it was an enjoyable visit. The room is modern, clean, warm and comfortable with all necessary amenities. Neroli and Lance assure privacy and provide supplies for a wholesome breakfast. Fairies magically appear after breakfast to take away the tray with dishes, and return it later with fresh supplies.

Anne and Wayne were lovely and communicative hosts during our stay. On a cold and rainy day, they ensured a smooth check-in and left the heater on for us upon arrival. The space itself was clean, well furnished and had everything required for a weekend stay. Although we couldn't use the outside amenities due to rain, the peaceful setting of the tiny home still provided a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you to Anne and Wayne for being warm and hospitable!

Hannah’s place was so beautiful. We had such a great weekend and felt very relaxed and at home. The fireplace was a highlight! Even though the weather for the weekend was awful, cold and raining, Hannah’s house was comfortable, and had all the amenities to keep us out of the rain and entertained. Hannah was a great host. Super nice and very responsive and even let us check in early. Hannah was also super happy for us to bring our pup, which made our weekend perfect. Really loved the whole weekend, can’t recommend Hannah’s house enough.

We stayed over for 2 nights and had a wonderful time at the property. The kitchen, living and dining area is very spacious and perfect for large family with kids. Kitchen pantry had all the essential cooking ingredients - which was helpful. Host was proactive in reaching out to us and checking if we were comfortable.

Damien's Airbnb was very cozy, bigger then the pictures on the inside, and very easy to find thanks to Damien's thoughtful and detailed instructions. Getting inside and setting up could not of been easier. I laughed upon entering as was greeted by a very honestly sized spider, who was swiftly dealt with by my thong (i didn't plan on making friends with it) A couple more smaller sightings throughout my stay, but this easily resolved by keeping the windows without the flyscreens shut, after which no more appeared, so do not worry!! Hot water and heating was above excellent, bedding was more comfortable then my own bed at home and roof windows (especially in the rain) and fold out tv great! The place was very peaceful, despite being somewhat close to the main house you would only hear them coming up or down the driveway Very well thought-out and loved Airbnb, from the complimentary candles and hairdryer and local guide book handmade by Damien Thankyou for having me :))

A rare gem—pure bliss by the lake! We stayed one night at Cottage by the Lake, but it felt like a world away from everything. Just 5 minutes from Hanging Rock, this stunning waterfront property features two tranquil lakes, complete with a rowboat and kayaks that guests are free to enjoy. The cottage itself is warm, inviting, and beautifully appointed with a wood fireplace (firewood generously supplied). The upper-level attic bedroom is spacious and cosy, while the well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Hosts Ann and Kevin were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We’d be remiss not to mention Jock, the sweetest dog who welcomed us on arrival and came by for regular visits. He loves pats and hugs and truly made us feel at home. This place is a nature lover’s paradise—kangaroos all around, stunning views, and absolute peace. A rare find we won’t forget. Wish we stayed longer. We will be back for a longer visit next time!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at this beautiful farm! The accommodation was not only stunning but also incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The peaceful surroundings and charming rural setting made for the perfect escape. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and unwind in nature!

The property and surrounds are beautiful. I couldn’t have ask for a more quiet and restful long weekend. Having my British Bulldog accompany me was a highlight and she loved exploring the grounds. My little Kia Picanto had no trouble navigating the flat unsealed roads. Ben the co-host gave us a private wine tasting on site which was delightful.
