Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Zurich

We had a wonderful stay with stunning views of Lake Zurich! The home was very clean, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the peaceful garden in the back and the lake view from the balcony. The location is ideal, just a short drive to scenic towns. It’s about 35 minutes driving to downtown Zurich and Lake Lucerne, making it both tranquil and accessible. Check-in was easy, and the home was well-stocked with everything we needed. Communication with Herbert was smooth and pleasant, he responded quickly to any questions we had. The apartment is very well-maintained, and we truly felt at home. We would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to return!

Andreas was a phenomenal host! Very understanding, he has a beautiful property and he upkeeps it with respect. He helped create an unforgettable weekend getaway!

What a wonderful and peaceful experience it was to stay at Emanuel’s greenhouse. I only wish we had booked a longer stay. His offer (and accepted) to pick organic strawberries from inside the greenhouse was much appreciated.

Spectacular location and a house that matches.. we had a lovely time, very well designed and built house, takes fully advantage of the beautiful scenery out side, highly recommended.. PS.. this applies for only during May-June ‘25 as the road in front of the house is getting repaired, it is important to note that there is only walking access to the house. This means that guests will need to carry their luggage for certain sections of the route from the parking lot.. just to provide clarity there is no option to drag your wheeled luggage to the house, it will need to be carried. Just wanted to provide this clarity as I thought this was assumed by us.. although the host had communicated to use about the access but this aspect was not clarified.

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

Fantastic views of lake and mountains from every room, patio and balcony. Great location/easy access to all attractions in the Berner Oberland area with all the amenities needed. Highly recommend!

All are very clean, and there's everything we needed for our week-long stay with a small family . Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. The apartment itself is fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It’s equipped with everything you might need for a family stay, from a well-stocked kitchen to cozy bedding. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to public transportation, and all the key attractions in Zurich. We especially loved how convenient it is, right next to the forest, a perfect walk to see Zurich lake from the top of the hill. Hellen truly goes above and beyond to make her guests feel special, and it shows in every detail of the stay. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Zurich.

We fell in love with this place. A beautiful house in the middle of nature – quietly located on a farm that radiates a special tranquility from the first moment. Ideal for switching off with the family: the kids had a blast, and so did we. And the best part: you can reach fantastic lakes or the mountains for hiking in just a few minutes by car. Flavia's recommendations for excursions and restaurants were also really great and very helpful.

We had been looking for a modern apartment for our holiday on Lake Lucerne for a long time and then came across Roshan's great Scandinavian furnished, bright and friendly apartment. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, everything you need is there - compact, high-quality and cozy. Mattress is excellent, we slept super well. The roof terrace is beautifully situated towards the forest hill and you can hear a lot of nature. That's really great. The roof at the back generally protects against the noise of the road and railway tracks by the lake. The communication was exemplary and super friendly! You can quickly walk to the lake, boat, train and in the village with bakery, butcher and Lidl. Logistically top location! We highly recommend the apartment and will gladly come back ourselves.

Was at the sporting event in Rapperswil. The accommodation is close to the train station, where you can go in all directions. Optimal. The accommodation is very quiet. Everything was fine. Thank you, Jana and many nice guests.

We were able to enjoy 3 very nice days with the lovely hosts. After a friendly welcome and a thorough check-in, we were well informed about the accommodation and all the possibilities. The pool and the nearby Rhine were ideal for cooling off. In addition to the comfortable bed, we also appreciated the other high-quality amenities. Everything was perfect from A to Z.
