Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Whatcom

Ten of us ladies stayed here for a relaxing girls weekend. It was perfect. There were few issues with getting upstairs propane stove to work, but the downstairs one worked just fine. We had to buy more TP & kitchen garbage bags for the house since we couldn’t find anymore, but still worth it. Overall it was a fabulous stay with a fabulous view!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was spotless, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was definitely the lake access — we spent hours out on the water with the provided kayaks and paddle boards. It was such a fun and memorable experience. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout. Would absolutely stay here again — highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Pam and Larry’s place. The house was very clean and well taken care of. It felt comfortable and had everything we needed for our trip. The location is quiet, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and the peaceful lake views. We would be happy to come back and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a nice getaway.

Beautiful beach home! So well appointed with everything you need and very clean. The views from the deck and quiet beach below cannot be beat.

The place was wonderful. There was a beach we walked on and I was there for work. It was everything I hoped for. I intend to stay again.

I was very impressed with the house. The views were incredible and in such a private setting. I was so grateful to be drinking coffee in the morning out on the deck listening to the water. It was a relaxing weekend with plenty to do on the island.

The house is just like the pictures. It’s very well kept. The kitchen has every thing a chefs kitchen is supposed to have. We were there in winter so the heat was important for us. The house is well heated. Washer dryer works well. This office is nice and cozy. The private dock is nice for fishing and crabbing. Thomas the host was very responsive and took care of minor issues promptly. I would definitely like to be back there.

We had a wonderful time at Stanwood, everything you can think of was available. The VIEWS, activities, bbq, jacuzzi etc…we are definitely coming back and telling our family and friends.

Beautiful lake view home - spacious kitchen with sliding door right on to deck that overlooks the lake. Hot tub on deck was wonderful to relax in and enjoy the view and birdsong. Julia was responsive to our questions and her place is welcoming and comfortable. My service animal was welcome and this place allows 2 dogs so that is another plus. Entire downstairs has 2 couches, bed and a fireplace so our entire party had their own space as well as a place to gather in kitchen and living room on main floor. Highly recommend!

We had such a great stay at this Airbnb! I stayed with my best friend from Ontario, my daughter, and her friend, and the place was perfect for all of us. It was incredibly spacious, which gave everyone room to relax and unwind without feeling crowded. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub — we used it in the evening and morning which made the stay feel extra special and relaxing. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described in the listing. The Sharon and her husband were friendly and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. We’d absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. The house and the area is just gorgeous! Loved the light up stairs, especially helpful for my parents. There was plenty of space for all family members to spread out. We would have liked TVs in the bedrooms, but other than that, we would definitely love to stay here again!

David’s place was the perfect weekend getaway for our family, including our 2 year old and our family pup. It was so great that they had all the essential kid things, and there was enough space for the kiddo to sleep in his own room. Close enough to Bellingham to pop into downtown for a bite and exploring, and within 5 minutes to several hiking trails. The hot tub was just what we needed after a long day of wrangling the toddler.

Our stay at the Treetop Home exceeded all expectations. The location was absolutely perfect, with breathtaking views from every room in the house. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully stocked, and had everything we needed—and more. After our daily hikes and island explorations, it was the perfect oasis to return to. We felt truly at home from the moment we arrived. We will most definitely be returning to a Stay and Sea property managed by Ashley & Brittany—if not this home again, then one of their beautiful waterfront options. Thank you for creating such a warm, welcoming space. It made all the difference!

We loved our stay at Devins house. Beautiful surroundings, spacious and comfortable. We felt right at home our entire stay.

Lovely, quiet neighborhood. Cute, clean rental and very comfortable bed.

Very clean, stylish, and well put together. Had all the basics, including coffee and cream, salt and pepper, basic seasonigs, but no condiments (Ketchup, mustard, mayo). Bed in master was quite firm, the other 2 were more forgiving. No grill or patio furniture. Note that driveway is VERY steep. I would stay here again.

Really enjoyed! Everything was perfect... we will stay here again if ever back in the area. peaceful and relaxing setting... just what we were after. cozy and homie with amenities provided. 5 stars!

Lovely, new house in a pretty neighborhood. Well equipped, completely clean. Very comfortable for 3 families. Host was friendly and quick to communicate. About 15 minutes from downtown, 10 from the Northside Galbraith trails, 20 from the south side. Would love to stay here again.

Excellent, short family stay. Cottage had everything we needed, even stuff not described in listing. Neighborhood is lovely and quiet and safe. Shared amenities, pool, etc are excellent, including a brilliant toddlers playroom which isn’t mentioned anywhere but is a saviour on a rainy day. Helpful host. Would recommend and stay again.

We stayed here to visit family in town, and we will be back and will recommend it to our other family members! It was a perfect place. We kept talking about how nice it was. So much space. So much better than a hotel! The hot tub is sooo relaxing, everything was so clean and smelled good. Natasha was also soooo responsive when I couldn’t find the laundry sheets or anything else. Can’t wait to be back!

Our whole family had a great stay at Janae's. It is close to the beach, and afterwards we unwound with 'The Pearl's' multiple rooms and outdoor spaces. We look forward to visiting again one day!

We had a great stay here! The pictures don’t give the place its full justice! The space was beautiful, Kitchen was well equipped, loved the heated bathroom floors, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet as well

My stay at Mermaid Crossing in Point Roberts, WA, was wonderful. The unit was very spacious, beautifully decorated and so clean. Lan has thought of everything that a traveler could need. I especially appreciated the full kitchen and the exceptional shower in the bathroom! Lan was a wonderful hostess!
