Jaime's cute house was the perfect place for our stay on Badin Lake. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was very clean and comfortable. Really like the covered parking too since it rained a lot during our stay. It was nice to be able to unload the car without getting too soaking wet!

I rented this home for my daughter's 16th birthday and we really had a wonderful time! The house is very nice and the lake with the kayaks and the paddle board were fantastic! My daughters also loved the swings and the hammocks. We did have an issue out of the owners control and they responded within minutes and were willing to do whatever they could to help. We would definitely love to go back at another time!

Louisa Jane was a wonderful host for a very last minute booking by a mom for some college kids traveling to Charlotte for a concert! The original site I requested was unavailable and she quickly offered an equally wonderful accommodation and provided fantastic communication for the new location. This is our 3rd time staying at High Rock Lake, we’ve bounced around and this was one of the best spots to stay! First we were stoked about an early check in, that was 1 extra hour we got to spend on vacation!! The house was very clean and was well put together. It came with lots of special touches like a dog kennel, bowls and a mat; separate towels for the lake, and black washcloths for make up’d faces. The screened in porch was our favorite spot and we spent a lot of time there! The kitchen was stocked with all of the appliances you could possibly want and plenty of cookware. We had a small issue upon arrival (out of everyone’s control) and our hosts were quick to respond and resolve and it was much appreciated! We really enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock - it was nice there were so many chairs and it made it easy to enjoy multiple spaces. If you’re looking for a great getaway, this is the spot!

This little home is a gem! It’s a perfect getaway secluded in the beautiful NC wilderness. The outdoor area is great to drink coffee and listen to the birds or build a fire at night, the studio had everything we needed and was very cute. The area is decorated to be so whimsical and fun, and when you meet Cate it all makes sense! Cate is the most wonderful host in all ways imaginable. She was more than happy to help us with whatever we needed and was very generous. Cate’s care and intention for her sanctuary shines through her actions and her delicious food. We came to visit family and stay in a secluded air bnb, but we left with an experience, fellowship and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Cate!

This was the perfect place to break up a long trip. It was hands down one of the cleanest rentals we have found in a while!! Everything worked well, the house plan is laid out really well - it's surprisingly very spacious and was quiet for a much needed night of rest before another long leg of our journey. Great space to stay! The historic home was filled with charm that created a home away from home essence. Great walkable neighborhood, with hidden gems of stores and shops.

My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon and overall really loved the experience. It was the perfect size for the two of us and felt cozy. They had a perfect spot on the lake and we never saw the neighbors, so although there are houses around it felt private. The balcony was our favorite part and we enjoyed having our meals outside. What I will say is that I wish there was a fire pit. There was gas fire pit in the pictures so we assumed there would be one and even brought stuff to make snores, but there is none. We are love being outside but having no fire pit was disappointing. There was also a plethora of bugs which made sitting outside last sundown nearly impossible. Don’t get me wrong i understand we are at the lake in June, but a fire pit or some sort of bug zapper mechanism would have done wonders. I would also not recommend for larger groups as there is only 1 bathroom and steel stairs to access it. Overall we would definitely book again and actually plan to!

Very clean peaceful place with easy access. Plenty of basic supplies. Dawn is a very responsive hostess. Our second time staying here.

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

We had such a wonderful weekend getaway at this property. Met all of our needs and expectations. Linda was very accommodating and accessible 100% of the time. Great location, we were able to visit the zoo and charlotte motor speedway. The community was awesome, we enjoyed the beach and the restaurant. Looking forward to our next stay!

I had a wonderful stay at Ron’s place! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect and very welcoming. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

My son and I had a great stay here. The RV itself was great. Very clean, extremely comfortable, and had everything we needed. The community was very nice with a lot of things to do from the pool, basketball, fishing, horseshoes, and lake area. It was very peaceful and I highly recommend for a nice getaway. Some nice local places nearby for food and supplies. Spiders has bait, tackle, and some local produce(the tomatoes were fantastic.) Not to mention, the lady(I feel bad I forgot her name) is extremely nice and helpful. There is also an ice cream place, general store, and dollar general right up the road. Host was great, very responsive and gave very clear instructions that made check in and out a breeze. Would definitely rent again.

Stacia’s place was exactly as listed and better. Great info from her when asked and plenty of reminders and extras onsite to get the most from the resort! Stacia was extremely responsive to us! Her place was better than expected. My family and I were coming from a last minute change at an another property we intend to stay at in this resort. The other place was not as listed, with many problems…. Luckily the stay was saved by and ended up being a great trip. Thank you Stacia!

The place was just as advertised and perfect for a quick getaway with my two daughters. The house itself was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved the amenities offered at the resort and really wish we could have stayed longer.

This place was perfect for our crew of 8. Everyone had plenty of room and the space they needed. The location could not be beaten with the water being right across a private road with your own dock access. We spent many hours out there and in the private pool in the backyard. The host also let us check in early since we were ahead of schedule. Five star stay

Terra was super responsive, but we really didn’t need much, everything was set up wonderfully. Being able to rent the water toys was such an amazing addition. We will definitely stay here again when we have another family reunion!

This was exactly the vacation we were looking for. Quiet area, easy to find right on the lake. The house is an older home with a lot of charm. I loved the stone walkway to the lake and the fact the house was not right on the road. The beds were comfortable which I think is hard to find. I would definitely recommend staying here.

If you’re looking for an easy place to stay near uwharrie this is perfect. Jerry is awesome and met us for check in and gave us the lay of the land. It’s a separate unit from the main house and yes there’s an outhouse but it’s essentially glamping if you need a spot with a bed, electricity, and WiFi for a night or two away from primitive camping in the forest!

This was one of the most fun camping trips i have done with my teen son! Jason was super flexible and helped me make this trip come true! I highly recommend his "Glamping" to those who want to explore nature but with a big more comfort!

We always love staying here:) Accommodations are as advertised. Easily sleeps 6+. Newly upgraded grill and dock. Responsive owner. MUCH cleaner than most "pet friendly" airbnbs... and the visiting dogs from next door are so friendly and polite. Best fishing we've found in NC!

Terry’s place was great. The house is beautiful and the view was spectacular. Terry is extremely kind and hospitable. We made great family memories cooking out, swimming off the dock, playing corn hole and enjoying each other’s company. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The Robin's Nest is a small but roomy adorable and romantic cabin that is so peaceful and calming. Once inside there was a welcome note with a couple of fresh, extremely tasty, pastries from a local bakery. Everything was very clean and tidy. The binder full of info from history about the property to local places to eat, and things to do around the area. We would definitely book again, hopefully during different seasons to experience the property in all the beauty.
