Cottage holiday rentals in Lake Temagami

Beautiful cottage 20min from downtown north bay, quiet street, well furnished, very responsive owners ( had a small issue with hot tub in next few hours host came over resolved issues. Highly recommend

The view was absolutely stunning, and the easy access to the lake made our stay even better. The highlight, though, was the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day by the water. A peaceful and beautiful spot for sure!

We booked under the general listing (Having not realized that there were more specific ones) so Dan was kind enough to choose a cottage based on what he believed would be appropriate for the temperatures and time of year. And when we met down in the driveway upon arrival, he was immediately very friendly and we had a great conversation, and he directed us up to our cabin which was an excellent choice, beautiful view of the lake, nice amount of shade, beautiful inside (looked like it had recently had some updates as well), very clean, and very well-appointed - full amenities, very comfortable space…more like a home than a cottage. Had a lovely conversation with Pam while we were checking out. We greatly enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year!

I visited with my 3 sisters and we plan to come back next year with our families. The cottage gave us enough privacy, stunning view, we used the fire pit. Pamela and Dan were incredibly welcoming. I drove into Callander briefly and it had everything we needed, as did our cottage. Wish the hot tub was working but that was the only thing I can think of. See you in 2024!

Easy key pick up through lock box. Place as advertised. Clean and peaceful. Right on the lake. Beautiful views all around. Cottage has plenty of space for large group. Four of us stayed and we would definitely come back again.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pines. The cottage looks just as it does in the photos and had all the amenities of home. Definitely worth it!!

We had an excellent family winter weekend getaway! We did some ice fishing, snowmobiling and skating/hockey down the road at the local ODR. The cottage was a great spot for our family and we will definitely go back and would love to try it in the summer months. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!

This place had everything we needed,, hot tub, sauna, cornhole, kayaks, canoes, a crockpot in the kitchen. Shelley was more than accommodating bringing us gas, Renee’s salad dressing since I forgot mine. Then for some reason the tv stopped working and boom there is a new tv! Cynthia was a great host, her home was very spacious and exactly as described. She was very flexible with check in and check out times upon request and was very responsive. The home itself is great, there is so much land to be utilized and is perfect for any sized family or friends. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you’ll need to cook meals. Couple things to note: There are many cobwebs and dirt/dust in the second outdoor house (the main house where you sleep and eat is clean). Secondly if you have a big family, consider buying some toilet paper as we had to purchase some more as there was only 1 per washroom. Overall it’s a fantastic place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

love the peace and quiet, being unplugged, there was great fishing close by. cottage was fully stocked with everything needed and then some.

Christina’s place was a little slice of heaven! I stayed for a month and loved going swimming during the beautiful sunrises, enjoying the peaceful dock and relaxing. Also, as a mushroom enthusiast, this property had so many lovely sights - even a shrimp of the woods bloom at the end of my stay. Christina was so lovely and accommodating and really helped me feel safe and welcome. My cats loved the windows and bright open space. Would recommend this stay to anyone :)

Everything about our stay at Rocky Shore Drive was spectacular. This place is roomy with all the comforts of home. Quality furniture is found throughout the place . The home is grand , bright with all its windows , comfy and clean. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Lots of extra linens and blankets are also available. Kitchen is fully stocked with drip coffee, a bodum, electric kettle , a microwave , dishwasher and a toaster oven. You will also find two large fridges with ice makers and water dispenser and two Jen-air stoves . Main living room has a super comfy sectional , big screen tv and a fireplace . **look for Woody in the main living room :) Upstairs ; a computer work station , a couple recliners and two bedrooms along with a washroom . Both washrooms were stocked with fresh towels and basic shower supplies; Shampoo n body soap . The basement ; a pool table , rummoli game , a drinking game , lots of books and puzzles to be found as well. Five stars all around ?

The home was exactly as advertised in the pictures. Beautifully decorated and picturesque. The views of the lake are stunning. The area was peaceful yet a close drive into town. The home had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Wonderful hosts with great communication. Looking forward to renting again, we will definitely be back soon!

we had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this lakeside property. The surroundings were incredibly serene, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. All the amenities were exactly as described, and the place was sparkling clean. Despite the long drive to get there, it was well worth it—the scenic beauty made the journey enjoyable. We especially loved spending time around the firepit, using the BBQ, and soaking in the beautiful views. It was a perfect setting for quality family time, and the host was very responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

We had such an amazing weekend here celebrating three birthdays! This was such a great find. Check-in and check-out was simple and straightforward. Corey is very quick getting back to messages should you need anything. There was flat yard next to the house which was perfect for lawn games. Caught lots of fish off the dock, enjoyed paddle boarding (kayak and pedal boat provided). The cottage was very cozy and we easily felt right at home. It has everything you need in the kitchen too. The property and surrounding area is beautiful and very relaxing! Thanks for the great accommodations, will definitely be back again!!

We had a great stay at Journey's End! The lake is gorgeous and peaceful (looking out at it from the cottage you wouldn't even know there are other houses on it or that Sudbury is less than an hour away) and the perfect spot for a weekend away with friends (or family). Plenty of comfy beds, lots of counter and table space for food, games and activities, lots of watercraft available for use, a great fire pit, and plenty of parking spaces for multiple vehicles. We quickly felt at home and Debera was a great host! We hope to be back next year!

I have stayed at some nice Airbnb over the years, but this one tops them all. Rosemary‘s Cottage is truly special location, wise and the Cottage itself. Rosemary and Mike could not have been more accommodating hosts. We felt right at home and cared for. I am really hoping to come back for another stay. Do yourself a favor. If you want a relaxing getaway in the most beautiful setting with great fishing and about to explore with, book Rosemary‘s cottage. I can’t thank Mike and Rosemary enough for providing an incredible experience!!

Marcus and Nancy have an amazing cottage in an incredible location situated on Bay Lake where the Montreal River flows through. If you are a Hunter/Fisherman, or just like the cottage escape, this is a prime property. Lots of fish in the lake and lots of hunting opportunities in the surrounding crown land. Neighbors are all extremely friendly. I Spoke to Marcus briefly and they are people that will go out of their way to make your stay at their cottage as good as it can possibly be. Very much enjoyed my stay at their cottage and was sad to leave! Thank you!

Jess and Mike’s place on Bear Island is the perfect place for a family get-away! We had a lovely week by the water and spent our days canoeing, paddle boarding, doing yoga on the dock, and hiking the nearby old growth forest trails in Temagami! On the rainy days we curled up and watched a movie in comfort. The cottage was clean and cozy and it was a bonus to have clean sheets, towels and a full cupboard in case we forgot anything! Thanks so much, Jess and Mike for sharing your piece of paradise! We hope to be back next summer!

back for the 2nd time! we loved the seclusion, privacy and quiet surroundings. we went to to observation point this time round. WOW is all I can say. don't miss the opportunity to see the views! we'll be back again! Hidden gem!

We had a wonderful stay at Darren and Bobbi Jo’s cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and hospitality. The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. Bobbi Jo and Darren went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and provided quick responses to any questions we had. The location was perfect, something out of a dream.
