Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Lake Te Anau

This bnb had what we needed for our quick couple days in Te Anau. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking items and the living room has plenty of seating. While I’m not taking full stars off for these items be forewarned that the bathroom is TINY. The sink is very difficult to use because of its size and water gets everywhere. It wasn’t a big problem for 2 nights but be aware if you’re doing an extended stay. The other item of note was that the single washer/dryer unit was almost constantly in use. We ended up having to take time to just stand near the door to get our clothes in queue.

Everything we needed for a great pit stop on our road trip around NZ and great location to be able to get to Milford Sound, thank you.

We had a great stay. The units were as described and clean. We booked 2 adjoining properties with an interconnecting door and this worked well for the size of our group. We also received helpful and prompt communication with enquiries that we had.

A nice stay a very short drive away from the shops and restaurants in town. The place is simple and just what you’d need for a night or two! Justine was a very kind host with clear instructions and communication :)

We had an amazing stay at Te Anau at Justin’s place! The home was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the lake and surrounded by beautiful mountains. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. My two daughters absolutely loved spending time by the lake, playing with the rocks and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The neighborhood was calm and quiet, making it the perfect getaway. Thank you, Justin, for such a wonderful stay, we’ll definitely be back!

Great place near the lake. With great balcony and view

Penny was a wonderful host and easy to reach during the stay, we needed assistance at one point and she swiftly arranged someone to come and help. The house is on the lake and we all enjoyed being able to relax in a warm and comfortable house. Penny also put in the extra mile and provided items for my little nieces and extra plates etc for an evening with extended family, which made our family holiday all that more special. And everyone had a amazing time Couldn’t recommend this Airbnb enough!

Excellent location close to town, easy walking distance to everything. We loved having a fire to warm ourselves after tramping for several days. Beautiful garden, spacious and relaxing kitchen/dining/lounge. Top notch AirBnB.

We loved our stay in Ann Margaret’s modern, warm, comfortable home. It worked well for our group of girlfriends catching up for a significant birthday. We walked into the Routeburn flats hut for lunch on the Saturday and enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Glenorchy pub at night. Would definitely recommend Ann Margaret’s home which was so cosy, comfortable and clean with great pressure showers and very comfortable beds. Ann Margaret was also very responsive to questions. Simone’s place was awesome. She provided detailed instructions and local places to eat. The house was beautifully furnished and had any amenity you needed. The beds and furnishings were modern and comfy. Definitely recommend staying here. The view of the stars and sunrise were out of this world.

Honestly, this is the best Airbnb we’ve had on our South Island NZ trip so far. The property is very well kept, clean, spacious; has functional kitchen, great view, great amenities, and wonderful host. We felt right at home, the bed was comfortable and wifi was reliable. We highly recommend and we would come and stay at Margie’s again.
