Holiday rentals with a patio in Lake Rosseau

This was my wife and I’s second time visiting Midland to attend the annual butter tart festival. Our previous rental unit last year was great as were the furnishing so the bar was high for this year’s Airbnb rental. In fact, the “Home in Midland” rental unit and the hosts exceeded our expectations. The rental unit's location was only minutes from the festival and most amenities such restaurants, waterfront and stores. We never moved the car during our stay since everything was within a short walk. About the hosts welcoming attitude and hospitality: Upon arrival, we requested an early entry which was granted without hesitation. We were also fortunate enough to meet one of the hosts (Shelby) she was extremely pleasant and assisted us in making sure we were in the right parking spot, which was well indicated. We walked up 2 flights of stairs to get to our unit and were pleasantly surprised at the space of the rental . The pictures online were absolutely on point and matched expectations.

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in After almost three years of Airbnbs around the world, this one in Canada tops them all. We stayed in both the Lookout (the little house) and the Pine Lodge (above the store)—and didn’t want to leave. The Lookout felt like a cozy sanctuary: garden, sauna, spotless, fully equipped. The Pine Lodge had a steam room (huge bonus!), comfy couches, a big dining table, and a fire always going. But what made it truly special were Krystal and Madison—the kindest, most caring hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like arriving at friends’, not strangers’. During a freak ice storm, they moved us to a backup-powered house and even brought us food. Just wow. Local tips: • Cawaja Store: best coffee, insane ice cream, and local broths, pies, soups. • Mums Restaurant: old-school diner, fresh, cooked-to-order food. • The Friendly Corner: lovely for sunny outdoor meals.

My stay at Carley’s place was amazing ! Her place is stunning , incredible attention to detail , comfortable and peaceful. Great location , short walk into the downtown offerings. I highly recommend anyone to stay at Carley’s place if you’re in the area , you will only be left very impressed ! Thank you for hosting my short visit Toby

We absolutely loved staying at Jessica’s place, it felt like we were cocooning in a treehouse. The location was so close to beautiful Georgian Bay. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we enjoyed the interior fireplace and exterior fire pit. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

We had a great stay! The place was spotless, the check-in process was super easy, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the harbour. The host was very responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Natalie's place. It was a great location, close to many amenities, yet quiet and peaceful. The studio felt comfortable and welcoming with a thoughtful design. I appreciated Natalie's responsiveness and proactive instructions which made my trip super easy. I would highly recommend this studio.

wonderful place... the wood fired hot tub is incredibly special and Jeff was on hand for anything we needed... highly recommend!

Cozy Shores is a beautiful spot and a lovely well appointed home. Directly on the water and easy to get to with restaurants and shopping within minutes . Everything was exactly as described - no disappointments . Hot tub and sauna were clean and in good working order . Dorothy was a a generous and responsive host and we immediately felt at home. We truly appreciated her offer of late checkout ! There is lots of privacy inside and out , and pet friendly is a bonus. We highly recommend and we'll be back at our first opportunity . The house was very clean, bright and cozy with all the amenities necessary for a great stay. Short distance to all the stores and restaurants, as well as two Provincial Parks. Would highly recommend this place to those visiting/exploring Huntsville.

Clean , cozy place with all the amenities you'll need. Short walk to a public little beach. Even our Molly enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard and local trails. Cheryl R.

Sooper awesome and amazing host Valeriya!! Valeria’s river house is an extraordinary getaway. She was really awesome and friendly, and was available for us when we arrived even during bad weather and patiently gave us a tour of the house, hot tub and everything available in the vicinity. Valeriya was quick to respond to all our queries and provided flexible check-in time. The place is really awesome with clear instructions. The hot tub was clean and had all amenities next to it. It’s an amazing experience during the night. We enjoyed it. All cooking utensils were neat and clean, we loved cooking and felt right at home. The house was really cozy and comfortable having a fireplace.If you are planning for a sunbath that’s even available with beach view, bring your beach blanket! Becky’s cottage is perfect for a family stay in Muskoka. The cottage is incredibly well designed and appointed with tons of small touches that make the stay outstanding. Both the main cottage and side cottage provide ample space for all parties and the outdoor space from docks to patios give everyone tons of space to enjoy the outdoors. We hope to stay here again soon! Derek

We had a lovely stay. The place was even nicer than we expected. This is the best air bnb we’ve ever had. It was really private and really clean, which was exactly what we were looking for. They provided so many little things which just added to the overall experience. Its the small things that go a long way. The place was really open concept and just really well furnished. We stayed at this beautiful cottage for 3 nights with a group of 10 ladies, and it truly was a fantastic experience. Cottage was exactly as mentioned on the site, very comfortable and spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. From the cozy common areas to the well equipped kitchen and serene surroundings, everything contributed to a memorable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend this lovely place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home!

We absolutely loved our stay at Maya & Greg’s cottage. We spent the May long weekend here and loved the peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings. The cottage was exactly as pictured, there was lots to do, and the hosts were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Our one night stay at Sabine’s was tremendous. The home is well appointed with plenty of space and easy walking distance to the village. Located in a second floor end unit, it’s a place you immediately feel comfortable in. There is a view of the slopes from the main room picture windows and a small deck area with muskoka chairs. There’s a sizeable fridge to store your beverages to drink while soaking up the views. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, and good sized master in the loft with king bed and en suite. Sabine was very communicative and left detailed instructions. Remote check in was a breeze. There is parking available. I would definitely recommend, and would definitely come back.

Great location, easy walk to the village and short drive into town, the spa and surrounding places. Stayed for 4 nights and it worked out perfectly

Loved our stay here!! Can't say enough positive things about our vacation here. Kitchen was fully stocked, clean bathroom and rooms, easy check in and check out and excellent cooling system as it was a hot few days. Amenities were great and welcoming for families, environment was peaceful and we also loved how the balcony backed onto trees and nature. Would 100% stay here again in the future. Thank you!

A wonderful spot with every convenient considered! The espresso machine might have been the highlight of my trip. The beach is very nice and close. The king bed is a very firm spring mattress, so something to consider if that is important to you.

Very responsive. Perfect location! Within walking distance to restaurants. Beautiful walking trails right across the road. Place was very clean and had everything we needed. We ran out of toilet paper and within 15 minutes was delivered to us. Would highly recommend!

Leo and Josie were great! They were friendly and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay! There were 6 of us and we all had more than enough space. It was a great stay, would definitely recommend! :)
