Lake house holiday rentals in Lake of the Pines

Sandy responded within 10 minutes of texting to give us the codes to get in the house. Everything was clean and the place was quiet. There are 3 rooms downstairs for different guests and one shared bathroom. I never saw anyone else but did hear one guest arrive. It was a good one night stay.

This location is one of my favorites in the world. The comfortable room and pond are both peaceful, relaxing, and refreshing. The pond is clean and full of healthy fish. The birds, cats, and Leeloo (the loving dog) are all a pleasure to be around, but Rena really is the best. She is more-than-accommodating, friendly, and a pleasure to chat with. I always look forward to paying the pond house a visit, and it’s yet another excuse to shake the rust off the fishing rods. As always, I’ll be back soon. Thanks again, Rena.

We had the most wonderful girls weekend at this Airbnb! Everyone was blown away but how gorgeous the home and grounds were. Really nothing bad to say about this place, it’s perfect for a large group! The home is spacious and cozy and the outside has room for so many activities. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating for our needs! It was hard to leave this magical place, we will definitely be back!

Amazing cozy home with a beautiful deck and view of the river, definitely looking forward to booking again! Madison was super responsive with any questions and concerns I had. The only con was that there was no propane tank in the outdoor fire place and the out door heater had an empty propane tank so we couldn’t use either. Aside from that 10/10 definitely would recommend

Beautiful house. So peaceful and calm. Great access to the lake and campground amenities. House was spacious enough for 3 families with young kids to run around and play together. Well-stocked kitchen and pantry items. Karen was super helpful when a WiFi issue came up and she fixed it quickly. We would definitely stay again!

Kristin was a great host. We had one issue in 5 months with PG&E power outage just to the rental, and PG&E tried to blame the Airbnb, but Kristin jumped right to it and “worked” PG&E to rectify their own electrical supply issue. She was flexible with our needs to extend our stay several months additionally.

we are just dazzled with this place. The home layout worked wonderfully and the home is spacious. Everything was just perfect for our stay. We appreciated the games and the well equipped kitchen. All the rooms were cozy and spotless. The home is inviting and on a beautiful lake as backyard. Husband and I stayed at Dawns place for our anniversary. Our stay was peaceful and private. The view was spectacular. Waking up to that view everyday was like a scene out of a movie. The Moon at night was perfect as well. The pictures on the description was exactly what it was like! Thank you Dawn for opening your home to us!

Great little spot. Clean, quiet neighborhood, great proximity to downtown Folsom. Having the washer and dryer was super nice! Meghan was great and appropriately communicative. Would definitely stay here again.

It was the perfect place for our family gathering. To our surprise a new upgraded play structure was installed which was not shown on the photos. The 3 and 5 year olds loved it a lot. The garage space turned into a playroom was brilliant! The kitchen was spacious and fun to cook in for our hungry tribe. Maybe another bench would be helpful to seat more folks around the dining table. The remodeled bathrooms were awesome. All was super clean, surfaces, linens and towels. What we could have done without is the scent in the towels and sheets. Overall it was a great experience, a happy get away.

The stay was great. Neighbors did call us out on a noise complain even though we were not loud. Other than that, great experience on having two living rooms and kitchens for different types of vibes.

This home was very private and homey. It was so clean and comfortable. Our host was very welcoming and responsive to our questions. We will return in the future!

Our second stay at Alley House, and already looking forward to returning. We celebrated our daughter’s college graduation during the stay. It was the ideal location and provided a home-like feel for a special family gathering. We really love the outdoor space and were visited by the local peacocks one afternoon.

Great place for a large group. Plenty of space to run around indoors and outdoors, short drive into charming town, and lots to do in area! Plushy team was responsive and easy to communicate with.

What a lovely home and so well appointed. Michelle was super attentive and proactive. The home was quiet and the back area was a wonderful retreat. The amenities provided were first rate. We loved staying there and would stay again.

My family went to Lake Wildwood to visit some family and luckily found Iris' house. Her place was ideal! Comfortable and close to a park on the lake, with a wonderful deck to sit on and share about old times as the sun set behind the oaks. And Iris was as available and helpful as you could hope for. We will return for sure.

Mark’s place was exactly as listed and in a fantastic location. The house had a great layout and the neighborhood was quiet. Lots to do in the area and so close to Sutter Street and all that it has to offer. Highly recommended and would no doubt stay there again if available!
