Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Lake Nicaragua

We had a wonderful stay. A proper jungle experience, we even had a tarantula in the outdoor shower!

I loved everything about my stay. Absolutely stunning surroundings. The staff we phenomenal, so friendly, helpful, and so lovely to be around. Kate arranged a Taxi to pick me up at the airport, which was so relaxing. I booked a massage day one, and had fantastic meals from their kitchen. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a retreat style place with connection to nature. I got more than I expected! Waking up to birds on my balcony, sun peaking over the trees and through the clouds of the volcano. All without losing the luxuries of modern villa! I loved the space! Definitely a place to return to and bring friends!

A wonderful location with a fantastic view of the volcano. Nolver, who is one of the managers on site, was extremely helpful and efficient. We found a great restaurant within easy walking distance - but take a torch!! A very special place.

The hotel is nice, clean and cozy. Food is tasty and the service is amazing. The location is not so far from the center and tourist sites but i wouldn’t walk because it doesn’t look so safe, i would recommend taking a cap (less than a dollar per person). Also if you’re taking your car the parking is in the street (and sometimes you might find space inside but only for two cars) the good thing is that they have someone looking after the cars but if you’re not comfortable with street parking ask first. Overall everything is good and i would recommend.

I highly recommend Loli's accomodation. Set in a calm and peaceful area of Managua you can explore Managua. washing service, and breakfast are available for a reasonable cost. I would definately return to Loli's place and enjoyed our conversations.

Chris and Beth’s spot is a gem. A perfect location to get away from the craziness and be surrounded by natural beauty. The location is perfect, about 15 minutes outside San Juan del Sur, giving you access to the town but also providing a quiet slice of paradise. The accommodations are terrific. The room is clean and comfortable. Chris and Beth are incredibly gracious hosts. The communication leading up to and throughout the trip was 10/10. Chris helped schedule a shuttle from the airport and was incredibly helpful making sure my day trip went off without a hitch. Beth was also incredibly kind and hospitable and cooked amazing food. I highly recommend spending some time here.

We had a great stay at the eco-lodge! The room was nice and the gardens are beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice! Santa Cruz is a lovely small town with everything needed. Would really recommend staying here. Staff super helpful with renting scooters and other information. Thank you!

La Poza Azul provides a little hideaway at the end of the world. If you want privacy away from the hustle and bustle of some of the more touristy areas of the island, this is your spot. There’s plenty of places to relax to enjoy the sun dotting through the trees and the breeze off the lake. I loved how alone I could be, but when I wanted company, it was easy to find. The land here is intense and beautiful. It will take what it needs to take, and give you what you need to receive. I love to camp, so I’m not bothered by lack of AC or bugs or general things that come with living with the outdoors, so mentally prepare for that type of living if you aren’t accustomed. Spike is incredibly hospitable and such a joy to get to know. He patiently and kindly answered my one million questions about Nicaraguan life. I loved the connections I was able to make with the neighbors, as well. The trip to this secluded spot was a HAUL, and Spike was so proactive and helpful in getting me there. <3

Chris is a wonderful host, very friendly, and makes you feel right at home. Their space is beautiful, absolutely gorgeous, even better than the pictures!! The kitchen was awesome and very well equipped, we cooked most meals because it was so lovely. Playa Hermosa is a wonderful, close by beach that is very chill and has a great open-air restaurant. Highly recommend staying here for a peaceful refuge! We will be back!!

A quick couple nights before my vacation ended and it was perfect. Directions were great since it’s off the main road and upon arrival did not disappoint. Amazing views with awesome landscape. This 1 bedroom is very spacious and comfortable. Very recommended for a relaxing chill place to stay in style with that upper class feel. Only thing to know is there’s no A/C, but it’s okay since the winds are strong each day/night and there’s a couple fans before the morning gets in the upper 70’s.

Excellent customer service, impeccable service, the place is beautiful, private and with exclusive views. We were a group of 13 people and were really satisfied with the experience, we hope to be back soon.

I absolutely loved staying here! I'm already booked for my next visit. My cabin was surrounded by nature and right on the lake of laguna de apoyo. My dog got to run free with the other dogs all day! There is a German Shepard guard dog on the property and he definitely does his job 😅. Daniel and the staff were great about putting the dog away at night if I needed to leave my cabin. 5 stars across the board. I'm looking forward to me next visit over the weekend. Its such a beautiful place to spend a few days escaping reality

San Simián is quieter than other hotels in the Laguna de Apoyo since it is further away, so you can enjoy to the maximum as a couple and the disconnection of the daily bustle. The level of cleanliness surprised me. The venue is very open with pets and I loved that.

Probably best room we stayed at during our trip in Nicaragua. Room is big and well furnished. We enjoyed it. Nice view on the Vulcano from the garden. If there would be a pool in the garden, it would be 6/5. Be cautious with the street leading up to the house - I’d only recommend for experienced scooter drivers or ATVs. Taxi was fine.
