Waterfront holiday rentals in Lake Neuchâtel

We had a wonderful holiday at Thierry's. The cottage is lovely and is well worth its name "the terraces of the lake". What a view. Reaching the beach in 4 minutes through the flowering meadows, it was serenity for us. Thank you also for the use of the paddle, and for the strawberries from the garden, and the great kindness. We'd love to come back.

Cricri and Mina are great host. The communication had been very smooth. The place is clean and convenient. It overlooks the lake from balcony and is also close to a lot of restaurants. We were allowed to check in early which we really appreciated. The carpark is actually quite easy to access and has a lot of spaces. Nyon is a nice small town itself and the people here are definitely more friendly to the tourists than other areas of Switzerland. We may come back again. Thanks again to Criric and Mina for allowing us to stay at your place!

Beautiful, clean, well-equipped apartment with balcony. Everything is available, as described in the ad, everything you need - even a raclette machine☺️. We particularly liked the direct view of the lake. There is free parking on site, and everything can be easily reached by car. Manda is a great host who writes all the necessary information in time via the Airbnb app, making communication very pleasant. We would book the apartment again at any time! We had a relaxing holiday with many hikes in the beautiful surroundings - thank you.

One of the best AirBnBs we have stayed at. Location was perfect for our taste, away from the crowd yet accessible. Beautiful and close to lake and mountain activities. Lukas was very friendly and responsive to all our queries. The house itself was great, clean and in a perfect spot. Only thing we missed was a washing machine due to the long duration of our stay, but other than that, it was as close to perfect as we could hope !!!

Nice apartment, spacious living area, comfortable bed,nice balcony, kitchen quite small but fully equipped. Very peaceful area but only a few minutes walk to local supermarket, train station and the village pub! Thun is a short drive away or a couple of hours walk on the riverside path. The pub served typical pub meals, they were large and cheap. Annemarie and her daughter were both very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay for our family, it’s a beautiful apartment with a great view, everything we needed and a great location. The best factor is that Mina is so kind and flexible and nothing was an issue. Thank you Mina we highly recommend your place.

This is the perfect home away from home. I stayed for several months here, for an exchange semester. I was looking for the friendliest hosts in the area and Beat and Helena fit the bill. They are very reasonable and accommodating, eager to make sure you'll feel comfortable without any hint of fakeness. The place is very cute and looks better than the pictures. The area is quiet, the air is clean, the river is right next to the house so you can easily go for a swim whenever in the summer. When booking be mindful that it's a very old house and has it's quirks, like the floor is ever so slightly slanted and the internal walls aren't soundproof. None of it really ever bothered me, though. I'd gladly book again 😄 the experience could not have been better

Beautiful little apartment, very well furnished with a superb unobstructed view of the lake and the pretty terrace to enjoy it!!! The big highlight! For calm, refrain... a lot of traffic, even early on Sunday morning.

Nice little house with a very nice view of the lake. The place is quiet and relaxing. The decor is minimalist, a little cold. The whole place is clean, you just have to sweep a little dust on the ground floor when you settle in. My husband, my 22-year-old son and I had a very good relaxing stay of 4 days. We spent wonderful Easter holidays in Simone's old town cottage in St.Ursanne. The place is very cozy with a homely wooden stove and well-kept garden. It's easy to communicate with Simone and everything was welcoming and clean.

Accurate listing. Small but functional, perfect for two people and for a weekend. Clean and well-equipped. The plus: view of the lake from the bedroom corner. The small downsides: very cramped bedroom area and fairly small parking space, requires some maneuvering despite a medium-sized vehicle.

Very appreciable short stay. I liked the presence of air conditioning with the high temperatures, it was cool in the rooms even in the mezzanine. The two beaches below the village are very uncrowded and the peaceful calm of the village is a stone's throw from Switzerland by bike.

Our stay was a real enchanted break! You can't get tired of the view of the house. The setting is idyllic and the environment peaceful. The house has canoes that we had the chance to use in the middle of the sunset. We felt very good during our stay: clean and well-equipped kitchen, quality bedding.. the house is spacious, everyone has their own space. We highly recommend this place and will not hesitate to return if we have a chance!

Carole's accommodation is perfectly located, right on the lake and right by the beach of Lutry. The seaside resort is very pretty and has a good infrastructure. Along the lake, you can walk to the pretty town in a short time and reach cafes and restaurants. The train station and grocery stores are also within walking distance. The accommodation is "small but nice" and offers a large, well-equipped terrace with wonderful lake views. Carole is a charming hostess who gave us helpful information and provided us with things we did not have. We would come back to stay anytime.

Our stay in Evian was heaven. Conveniently located, great restaurants nearby, close to the ferry, funicular, bus, and tourist information. I can't think of a better location! Strolling along the Lac Leman walk was so enjoyable and there is so much to do, nearby. We'll return for sure! Thank you so much, Ben!

What a lovely apartment in a vibrant and walkable area of Geneva! The apartment is on the top floor with a view of Lake Geneva on one side and a view of the neighborhood on the other. The apartment is beautifully appointed and quiets down around 10 or 11 pm at night, with a bit of pleasant street noise until then. There are lots of restaurants and cafés, and it's one block from an enormous and beautiful park. We enjoyed taking coffee at Chou, just one block over. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again when we're back in Geneva.

The apartment was bright, friendly and nicely decorated as described. Everything you need is there and you are so close to the water that you feel like you are right on the lake. Evian is easily accessible by car and also on foot where there are many shops and good restaurants.

We had a few wonderful days at Alex and Carina's apartment. We lacked nothing in the apartment and it was exactly as described in the photos. It was very clean and the location is great for hiking or other activities. Alex and Carina are super warm hosts who gave us great tips for hiking. Definitely recommend!

Great place to visit Lausanne and the neighbouring towns. 10 min walk to the station and 20 min by train to Lausanne station. Great appartement to stay with a baby/toddler! Anne provided all amenities for our little one to feel at home (including the bath). He especially loved the box of toys. Nice to be able to enjoy a small garden & terrasse. Anne has always been very responsive, despite our delayed arrival. And it is very convenient to have a host living not so far

Beautil apartment, excellent for 4 adults. impeccable and clean, we were not smokers and so great that not smoking is permitted. Nice little kitchen with everything one needs, a grocery store just across the street. Nice walk to the lake and views.
