Loondocks | Lakeside Hideout w/ Sauna

Less than an hour from Minneapolis, the Loondocks is a sun-soaked, pet-friendly hideout on beautiful Big Eagle Lake. Natural stone steps (NOTE: These are uneven, so do not book if you have mobility concerns!) lead down to the bungalow-style house, a stylish bunkhouse, wood-burning sauna, spacious deck with lake views, and flat waterfront yard. Sip coffee and watch the sunrise, lay out a towel at the end of the dock, or share a meal with the whole family! This is the perfect summer getaway.

5 bedrooms/2 bath-Suitable for large groups. Price quoted is for 11 people. Lower level of a duplex (completely separate) . 200 ft of lakeshore in a private quiet setting. 2500 sq ft , features a family room, kitchen, 2 dining areas, fireplace, lakefront deck, swimming area, lakeside fire pit, and dock. Canoes, Kayak and fun yaks included in price. Last minute cancellations will be refunded, minus 10% if owner can rebook the cabin. (PLEASE READ DETAILS SECTION BELOW).

Charming 4 bedroom/2 bath cabin on Little Waverly Lake, just an hour from the Twin Cities. Great fishing and rural, small-town feel. Spacious living room opens to the sun porch and its beautiful views of the lake. Swim, boat, fish or play games. Full kitchen with dishwasher; W/D. Level yard walks directly to lake and on-site boat launch. Although not handicap accessible, the main floor bedroom/living area and level lot would accommodate someone with limited mobility.

River Hideaway

Knotty pine nearly throughout, whirlpool bathtub, granite countertop, new appliances, washer/dryer. Cookware & dinnerware provided. Outdoor gas grill (& older charcoal) and fire bowl (bring own firewood). WiFi not available & cell service is marginal. There is a queen sz bed downstairs, the loft has a futon that flattens into small double bed, and there are 2 twin beds. No large, loud parties that go on into the night as there are neighbors, including the owners.

Come relax with your family at this quaint cabin with lake views & lake access. Cozy cabin with all the amenities you will need to enjoy your stay. Lake & dock access to bring your own boat or bring an ice house for winter fishing. Small sandy boat launch and beach located by the dock for your boat or launching the kayaks. Fire-pit for summer fires & indoor fireplace for cozy evenings. Close to grocery stores, restaurants & shopping.

Enjoy one of a kind views of the St. Croix River and River Valley while being just minutes to downtown Hudson, 20 minutes to Stillwater, and 40 minutes to the Twin Cities. Driveway may be icy in the winter months so please plan accordingly. Note: Max occupancy is 3 persons. No parties or pets please.
